    Hey there, FYI.... Forced choke is not something that jedi and sith normally use when they fight each other. Each jedi and/or sith has a force shield that protects them against attacks like force choke. And it would take too much energy to break through the shield to choke their opponent. In a battle, the amount of energy trying to force choke your opponent would weaken your power. And your opponent would waltz right up and pulverize the hell out of you.

    Jedi are like super-powered Buddhist monks who only kill as a last resort. They're supposed to be peacekeepers and diplomats, which is why the Chancellor sent them to negotiate a peaceful outcome to the Trade Federation's blockade. At this time in the Star Wars timeline, they've been used by the Republic as policemen, which technically goes against the Jedi pacifist code -- they're trained in defensive swordplay (which is why you'll see Jedi take off a hand holding a weapon rather than just kill the aggressor -- they have cybernetic technology, so it's easy to get robot hands). You'll see how that works out for them in the films to come.

    I didn't even need to see the video before giving it a Like cause you gave RESPECT to the creator instead of corporations and the media. Respect to you. And the reaction was awesome. There were many reason but George Lucas sold his company cause Lucasfilm was an experimental company. Not only did they make movies, they developed technology, were providers for special and practical effect for all Hollywood (without being in Hollywood), and after finishing his saga (6 films) and 5 seasons of an animated show; Lucasfilm started to develop basically augmented reality for filming a live-action tv series, that's 2005 to 2010 we're talking about. Also the animated show was experimental in style as well and it didn't do as well as he expected, although it did good. So basically they were losing money, so he had to to sell the company for his workers and his projects in experimental filmmaking. Disney had been offering a deal since the 80's/90's to him, so they were the most interested buyers and he was able to struck a good deal with them (went from aprox 500 million to 4 billion USD). Now he is building the largest museum of narrative art that's ever existed and apparently makes movies that aren't released to the public.

    Anakin is 9. Children with high m-counts are typically given by their parents to the Jedi Order as infants. Jedi teach to avoid attachment including attachment to family.
    Anakin has no father. He was created by the Force.
    No, Earth is not part of the Star Wars world.
    Padmé is 14 in this movie. The Naboo are pacifists which is why they have no army.

      The Naboo are pacifists, like most planets in the galaxy -- certainly planets in the Galactic Republic -- at this time. They have volunteer defense forces, but no one has a standing army. This is why the Trade Federation uses a droid army.

      @@ReactWithJohn Don't worry about it. You'll still get a surprise, just in a different way. George Lucas himself says chronological order is the way to see these movies. When they first came out, we obviously didn't have all of the movies yet, where now 40 years later, we have all of them. I suggest a different order, but still, this way of watching the movies seems to hit reactors a lot harder than watching them in release order. And I have seen a LOT of reactions to these movies! I honestly would have fast-forwarded your videos to the good parts if you were watching them in release order like everyone else does.

    • @pendragonsxskywalkers9518
      @pendragonsxskywalkers9518 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      No, you don't have to. Why he would be confused? And he wasn't discouregd, he clearly liked both first and second movie. (I agree that many people are indeed discouraged by first movie - I met many people who said "I watch only first episode and I didn't like it", but if you go thoigh first episode and like it, then it only gets better. He clearly was enjoying.) Both orders are correct - each has its own merits and flaws. I would say it's better to start from beggining because you see how flawed Jedi are - if you start with original trilogy you tend to view them as this good guys who are always right and Anakin was ungrateful and angry, wheras it was their poor parenting that made him feel outcast.
