I suggest everyone go to KHouse and buy as much of his material as you can afford. These lessons are really convenient and free for now, but I suspect at some point we won’t have internet access or content like this will get scrubbed. Everything Chuck Missler warned about is happening and like he said when it starts it will happen quick, tachious (SP?) I believe is the word he used it’s where we get the word tachometer.
Years ago I completed the Bronze Level Bible Study program with Koinonia House. I actually saw Chuck Missler in person at two different conferences. His Bible studies have blessed my life more than any other Bible teachings in 60 years of studying the scriptures. These lessons are TREASURES!!!
Throughout history, the mystery of God's word has been preserved and written in the hearts of his people with great conviction. Preserving God's written words without having spiritual understanding, is like a man who indulges in the finest foods while others are starving. (He has nothing to offer).
Even going back this far in Chuck's preaching his wit and knowledge always makes me feel good when he speaks about Jesus. I don't think the Jews ever accepted a triune God. Three persons in one God. They seemed to know the Holy Spirit. But they certainly did not believe in Grace salvation. They would offer 10K burnt offerings for sin but none of those could redeem them from sin. When the Messiah came He came in humbling circumstances. God knows there are so many "churchians: who believe they are saved by attending church every week. They do not act like Christians all week but one hour on Sunday somehow wipes out their sin. These modern day "pharisees" have the same problem as the ones that argued with Jesus. God is able to do anything and does it. He is not stopped by anything or anyone. God bless K House. These are the best Bible study and Chuck was and still is the interpreter of the Bible.
God bless you fantartsy. Chuck Missler, Ron Matsen, (my favorites) are truly blessed teachers but it is the Holy Spirit who interprets. We must be like the Berean’s Acts 17:11 who ”…received the word with all readiness of mind, yet searched the Scriptures daily, to prove whether those thing were so.” In His love continue listening but I would encourage you to enroll in KInstitute and start taking classes (of course secondary to daily devotions.) Grace and Peace to you.
O I know this one, the exodus study, is going to get better and better as we go, I know, I peeked ahead 😉 sooo good, thank you khouse, man, so many are missing out, I'll pray that more be led, and share.
@ 42:00 - Scholars are free to believe whatever speculations they want. Ex 4:24-26 is an overview of a disagreement between Moses and Zipporah over the circumcision of their first born son. Apparently Moses had given in to Zipporah and had delayed the circumcision instead of being the head of the household and forcing the issue. This is probably why God was angry with him and forced the issue Himself by meeting them at the lodge. Zipporah finally gets the message that this is not a choice but resents Moses because God is not changing His covenant. How could Moses be an effective leader of God's people if he is not in good standings with God's commandments? If Moses own first born son was not circumcised the people would rightly revolt at the hypocrisy. If Chuck is referring to Ex 18 where Moses sends his wife and sons back to Jethro the context of the story seems pretty clear to me. Moses was probably afraid for their safety as the people were very restless and Moses feared being stoned himself (Ex 17:11). He was also warring with the Amalekites while travelling on foot. Sending his family back to his father-in-law seems very reasonable as an act of love and protection. Not an act of divorce. Why would Moses continue to endanger his family? God did not tell him to take his family. He only told Moses to go. We also see where Jethro returns to Midian by himself (Ex 18:27). There is no mentioning of anyone leaving other than Jethro. So that implies that Zipporah and her sons stayed with Moses. Otherwise, the Bible would have stated specifically that Zipporah and her sons returned with Jethro. It does not. Chuck and others are most likely referring to Numbers 12 where Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the "Cushite" woman. Chuck is inferring too much speculation by assuming the people of Cush settled southern Africa, therefore this "wife" they speak of must be a different wife and not Zipporah. There is one big thing these scholars may be overlooking. Time. I submit that the Cush people may have settled in Midian first before moving south to Africa many generations later, becoming the people we know as the Ethiopians. That does not prove the Moses divorce Zipporah or married a second wife who was "black". There's too many assumption that a built upon each other to infer that knowledge or even submit that as plausible. It's interesting but not proven. The issue in Num 12 has nothing to do with skin color but the jealousy of Miriam over Moses. That's why only Miriam was inflicted with leprosy for 7 days as leprosy is symbolic of sin. Her sin was envy of her brother being a prophet of God. Don't overlook the lesson God is showing you for "secret" or "hidden" messages that may not even be there.
The case of Miriam, since God is just and repays what everyone deserves it might be likely also skin may have been a contributing factor among others. Maybe God stroke her with a skin disease to have a taste of having to be singled out and cast out because of your skin.
What à blessing, they. are great, Pastor Church was and still is the best,we miss him so much the times we're in now oh the teachings that he could do noi
I’m surprised that Dr. Missler didn’t pick up on Aaron’s being called to meet Moses in the desert is a type (as he would call it) of THE RAPTURE. It just occurred to me as I was driving home and listening to this. Has anyone else considered this?
I often wondered how it was possible for the Israelites to be in Egypt for 400 years but considering Moses's family tree, technically Levi was Moses's great grandfather. From a little research I did God tells Abraham that they would be strangers in a land that was not theirs, so if you count down starting from Isaac, you could make the case that the Israelites were only in Egypt for around 210 years! How they came to number so many is way beyond me though
Wait. There’s NO actual footage of Chuck himself? Why have you completely cut him out of this? New graphics are great but they only enhance the VIDEO of him teaching.
I think this was recorded before they started or were able to make videos, which makes it all the more awesome that they were able to jazz it up the way it is now. I love to see Chuck as much as the next guy, but I usually spend more time listening to these presentations than actually watching them, but we all learn differently sometimes. God bless my friend
This was an audio only recording. There wasn't even a slideshow originally. As we have experience with hundreds of hours of Chuck's teachings. We carefully created slides which are in the type and style, Chuck himself would have done.
God bless you K House Great will be your reward for helping all of us!!
