Nice vid, I suppose you were flying to Sao Paulo? Back in the day I flew the Ponte Aerea quite often on the Electra, they were slower and were not as high by the time they were over Copacabana and Ipanema, we could actually make out people walking on the beaches.

When landing at Santos Dumont airport the view as the plane passes over Rua Bambina and Botafogo is incredible.

The two times I have flown out of Santos Dumont, the take off was in the opposite direction and even more dramatic....my favorite take off ever!

That runway is not that very long than the ones in aircraft carriers.
4300’, that’s one of the shortest runways I’ve seen. Shorter than London City even, I think.
