    Clarity, presenting historical background, with photos, vivid narration, simply in one word, A wonderful presentation. Thank you very much. 👌🌹

    To speak on A Fleming is not possible without mentioning Howard Florey , Ernst Chain , and their contribution in a research , who obtained a Nobel prize with AF.

    I think this is one of your most detailed and overall best videos, wonder why so few views compared to the others in this series?

    An honorary mention about Jenner wrt vaccines would have been great.

      Jenner deserves much more than an honorary mention, he did create the first vaccine after all

      You cannot say one scientists is better than the other. If someone says that to normal people, people go on campaigns but for scientists comparison, it is a joke. Just saying.

    I notice most recent was a year ago. This series, to continue with the motif scientist "versus" scientist, at least should have contrasts that truly represent opposing views. For example in Pasteur's case, the obvious competing view would be Bechamp. For another example, A.A. Michelson vs Einstein. Or even the more obscure O.C. Hilgenberg, whose theory of the turbulent ether of space and the vortex atom model of Carl F. Krafft answer the propositions of space time with truly visualizable hydromechanical mechanisms explaining red shift problem, and even planetary orbits, such as the perturbations of the perihelion of Mercury. As it stands, this series is merely two short bios and nothing about any of the is apropos of "versus". At any rate, hope inspiration finds you and you continue to produce material.

    This is good stuff but why the "vs"?

    You cannot compare two people who contributed a lot to the world. It is very insulting if someone does so.

    The part about crystallography was confusing ... so paratartrates aren't one type of crystal, they're two types? But tartrates are just one?

    • @SigmaDocumentaries
      @SigmaDocumentaries  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, while scientists in Pasteur's day believed paratartrates were one type of crystal, they are actually a 50/50 mix of two crystals, which is what Pasteur found.

    Pasteur way better
    Fleming did only one thing and that too by accident & meant of luck. He didn't even have the ability to mass produce or purify the drug. It was done by two other biochemist. Pasteur made far more and better contribution
