I feel like this is an amazing story game, but at the same time that I would need to be in the right mood to be able to deal with the hardships of (a fictional) life to be able to get through it.
I've never before enjoyed somebody explaining the instruction manual like this. Thank you (&Phil) for the great recommendation. I'm sure I'll be picking it up.

I adore Citizen sleeper so much - I’m on my second playthrough of it, this time as an extractor rather than machinist and I still can’t get enough of it. When I first saw it on gamepass I was practically immediately hooked from the thumbnail of it, the robot Android looking thing with the pink-ish background was so striking?? Against everything else?? And I was like Hell yeah I need to try this. I was pretty intimidated by the dice system at first, but im so glad it wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be 💀- reminds me a little of Disco elysium!! The art style. Ohhh my god it is gorgeous to me I LOVE the outfits for the characters, the poses, the expressions, the way everyone looks so different from each other but also so clearly belong to the same place - and I thought their outfits were really well done as they really showed what kind of people they were (occupation wise etc) from first meeting. Lem my beloved,, though Ethan is definitely my favourite because of the sheer audacity of the man. Also : Hawaiian shirt. Plus the background!!! The BACKGROUND!!! It is genuinely so cool the way it’s modelled. The Eye isn’t overly detailed but it also has so many shapes and areas and I can’t even describe it My first playthrough as machinist, I had no idea what I was doing - my condition broke and I was panicking about what to do so hard LMAO I got scraps of metal to repair myself like my Life depended on it (it did, to be fair: but I didn’t die!!) and I was so enamoured with everyone’s drive. Even then though, I had no idea how much there actually was to the game, so when Lem’s drive came up, I immediately took the chance to get Sleeper and him off of the eye, and when I read the description of what sleeper thought what would happen, it was so so bittersweet I actually teared up. I really love what they’ve done with the characters. So far, I’ve started Tala , Navigator, Castor and Bliss’ drives, gotten further on Feng’s, finished Ankhita’s , Emphis’, Ethan’s and Lem’s drives and I haven’t even begun on other things because I’m just skipping from one place to the next - which I’m personally a huge fan of. I checked my stats for the game and in total I’ve played like 12 hours,,, I cannot wait for citizen sleeper 2 as well oh my god it’s gonna be sick
maaaaaan, this game's story/world seems RIGHT up my alley as far as sci-fi goes. the whole capitalist dystopia thing can feel a bit played out at times (and it's extremely easy to be too heavy-handed with it) but i can't be too critical of that since that's more or less the flavor of sci-fi story i'm in the middle of working on. that said... it's a shame, since i'm pretty sure i'd hate the gameplay. i can see the appeal but it strikes me as the type of story i'd rather read/watch than play myself.
Shouldn't the title of these be "A RNG" and not "an"? Since it's "a random number gen" Or to avoid the issue of pronouncing the acronym vs not, maybe just "RNG made me..." would be better?
I base it off the logic of saying the acronym as a word. An arr-en-gee. I'm going to be honest, I respect the hell out of you for bringing this up. I worry about this kind of stuff like it's my job.
@@RandomGameReviews Haha, understandably so. I see both pronunciations so half of the time it looks strange to me and the others it feels normal, I'm not too sure there is a better way than to just pick one like you did and run with it.
I cannot end first cycle. Spent 20 minutes trying to figure it out and ready to just delete this game. Out of dice. Nothing to do but game is just broken.
@@RandomGameReviews I checked everything like 10x. I even tried a second game. There is simply no option to progress past first cycle. I’m going to just request a refund as the game doesn’t work.

You might still have a quest to do? Visit every unlocked location and see what happens
