Thanks for anorher great project! Always wondered how they did the mats. So the freezer paper wouldn't be so fragile, couldn't you iron a few layers together, before cutting? That's how we did it for applique (quilting).
Does black paint not work?

Nope I did not seal this. You can with a clear spray but ours has been holding up for months

Could you use spray paint and seal with clear spray? How long will it last from the Sun?

@@lorif6116 you could. I like the flex seal better because it’s a long lasting rubber coating and doesn’t require multiple layers. Spray paint will require a couple coats and doesn’t spray very well directly down
