Obviously I don’t know her personally but, from everything I do know about Kate. I believe the reason she told that story is because she asked her daughter beforehand if she could and her daughter said yes otherwise I don’t believe Kate would have said that.
That’s why I think Kate said ‘don’t embarrass her’ because although she got her permission to tell Jimmy about the crush she has on him Kate didn’t want to push it and end up actually embarrassing her daughter.
But obviously I could be wrong cause like I say I don’t know her personally. But I just feel that is more likely the case in Kates situation. Obviously there are many that don’t ask and just seem to find it funny to publicly embarrass their children. Which I agree is just unkind and not even funny.
