Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Diggin' you fellas and your ball reviews are awesome! Showing other bowlers with different styles once in awhile is really cool too! Can't wait til your next video.
Thank you brother! I'd love to bring you guys some different styles so hopefully we'll be doing that soon. Appreciate the kind words my friend! Joe Bowler
I just want to say - I am really enjoying your channel. I stop what I'm doing every time I see you upload a new video. This is my #1 favorite bowling channel on youtube! Keep it up!
Thank you very much! That means a lot to us. We really enjoy making all our videos so we're glad our fellow bowlers are enjoying them. Have a great day my friend! Joe Bowler
John Smith absolutely not 😂 I'm broke as a joke.. That's alright though man, there's more important things in this world than money! Have a great day! Joe Bowler
Hi Joe nice video the ball looks great. My question to you is have you thrown the Black Widow pink and the black gold? How would you compare the pink and black gold to the platinum?
I could have probably just put 55 but I'm very precise.. 😂 This is the measurement that puts the MB right in my thumb hole. Mo Pinel did a video a while back and said doing this would make asym balls roll more like symmetrical balls so I tried it. Just laid one out with the MB direct in the center of my thumb, pin above the ring and punched it up. Then I just worked my way back and got the numbers. I've had quite a bit of luck with this layout and it's become one of my favorites. Thank you! Joe Bowler
Hey Joe, this was another great show... I'm learning more about layouts on asymmetricals and I wanted to know about your favorite with the MB in the thumb. What don't you like about layouts that put the MB closer to your VAL?
Hey man. I prefer putting the mass bias or psa in the thumb because it delays the ball revving up giving me a smoother break point shape. The closer you put the psa to your val the quicker the ball is going to rev up resulting in more flare which means more hook. With my axis rotation and tilt my balls are naturally going to get down the lane so I don't need much help getting a ball to turn over. And with my higher rev rate and slower ball speed, I prefer symmetrical balls because they are cleaner through the front part of the lane where asyms pick up quicker in the midlane. If your a bowler with high ball speed or a low rev rate the strong asyms drilled with the mb closer to your val are going to get that ball rolling earlier and in most cases be a benefit. It really all does depend on your individual stats. Knowing your PAP, rev rate, axis tilt and rotation is important to getting the reaction your looking for. That's why I always say every bowler is different so what works for me might not be the best option for you. This video by Mo Pinel is fantastic. It explains axis migration, pin to spin lines and lots more good stuff. I can't recommend it enough if you want to learn more. You should watch the whole thing but he talks about drilling asyms starting at around the 53 minute mark. th-cam.com/video/rOOZdetR2Fs/w-d-xo.html Thank you brother!
@@bowlingknightzgarageshop7593 Thanks man. I re-watched it, and agree -- it's super informative! It will really help me decide on my dual angle layout of my new ball. Thanks for answering my question too... it helps me understand and apply the theory (of ball layouts) when I can actually watch a bowler (you, in this case).
Highway 69 anytime! I don't know everything and I'm still learning everyday but if I can help, I'm always glad to! Would you prefer to see me use different layouts in the ball review videos? I have no problem doing that if bowlers would rather see that than the same drill all the time. Thanks again!
@@bowlingknightzgarageshop7593 No, you don't have to do that. Thanks for asking though. I am a slower speed/higher rev bowler too, but unlike you, I have less tilt (my normal release is more up the back of the ball). So, as long as I understand you and can watch ýour reaction, I'm OK. I can't thank you enough! One more question... Why do use such an odd number (57 )on your drill angle?
I love this question! 😂 There's been quite a few lately but the ones that immediately come to mind are the DV8 Creed Rebellion, 900 Global Inception DCT and Brunswick Fearless. I know they way they look has no affect on their performance but I naturally gravitate towards and buy balls that appeal to me visually. I also prefer the solid colors because in my opinion, they're easier to read. What's the ugliest and prettiest balls you've ever seen or owned? Thank you very much! Joe Bowler
I haven't heard anything about it yet but we'll most likely be there, at least to watch and hang out. Anytime we can bowl with you guys, we're going to! Thank you! Joe Bowler

I still own the original black widow pearl and still use it on todays oil patterns.. gas mask core is amazing
What's your experience with "x-out" bowling balls? Just got a black widow urethane.
We throw them all the time. It's a great way to save some money and we've had a lot of luck with them.
Thank you!

@@bowlingknightzgarageshop7593 yeah man because real league bowlers don't got all the dough just yet.

57° drill angle, how did you come up with that?

The copper one looks great but I think the blue one looks even better
That one is a beauty! A lot of the overseas Widows look great. Wouldn't mind trying a couple more myself.
Thank you!

Basically the pink widow
those lanes must be a cake walk.
I just got the widow platinum blood orange so we’ll see cuz I still have the pink
Sweet! That's a nice looking ball as well brother. Let us know what you think about it!
Appreciate ya!

Smoke anotha one, smokey!!!
That ball clearly turns late at the backend.
No offense, I would get it drilled 4by4 by1/1_2.

@@bowlingknightzgarageshop7593 Motiv Forge Fire is the ugliest ball I know. DV8 Thug Life is the prettiest ball I have.
Joshua It that Forge Fire is ugly man.. I haven't got to see one in person yet but from the pics and videos I've seen, it's up there for me as well.
10-pin - hold your thumb at 12 o'clock position, at release...
Nothing hits like a Hammer.
