I love this idea!! I have a stone house, so i feel this is a gr8 idea instead of drilling n using extension cables. My area is windy, so I'm not comfortable being on ladders outdoors. I'm going to give this a try. Thanks!!
Hi Susan. Well, the instructions says that the epoxy is good for metal, plastic, aluminum, ceramic, concrete and brick. I have just made a plant trellis on my side-yard, and used the same putty to hold hooks onto the side of my home, directly on the stucco. So Far So Good! So I'de say Yes.
Oh awesome Rich! Thank you so much for replying! This is a great idea and now I can start my project tomorrow with ease knowing I can do this on stucco. Thanks again!
Hi Rich :) Thanks for sharing! I have to attach 15 LB flower arch on the gazebo and after a day I have to remove these loops! Do you think that it s easy to remove these loop hook ?How many of these seals should I install? Thanks
Hi Nguyn. If you go to Home Depot, and check in the Paint Section and ask for the JBWeld Steel Stick or Water Stick. It is an all purpose Epoxy Putty. The Water Stick even boasts better for wet conditions. Probably better for colder locations. Anyway, look behind the package for temperature conditions. Probably will be okay in your area.Try one and see if it works. Let me know...
I have also use it on stucco with great results. Here's an example where I use these hooks on Stucco... photos.app.goo.gl/dVMakF8rE16sCUFz9 -and here- photos.app.goo.gl/P4aHXnjbaSN23mXZA
Thank you for asking. I've used these on block/brick walls and stucco house walls with total success. I cant say for sure on brick houses but I would imagine it should work just fine as long as that that portion is not exposed to too much moisture. If you try it yourself, please be sure to let us know here of your findings.
I have been looking for a way to have my rose climbers stay on the wall without drilling. I'm so glad you posted this. This is absolutely genius!
Love your idea, no drill needed
Finally! Bravo! Gracias!

Would this be able to handle a Bougainvillea? Would be a spectactular solution!
Incredible! Just wanted to know if this is easy to remove from a brick wall if we wanted to?
Hi ,Thanks for video. Can you please put in comment here Brand and size of the items used for this project?
I just edited the description and added the parts...
What are your thoughts on using this method for a Bouganvillea on a stucco house (around a garage entry)?
I think it would be perfect for Bouganvilleas.
Is this strong enough for wisteria along some heavier wire?
Will this method work on stucco walls?

Hi. Just saw this technique. Will this work on brick walls in colder climates (Indiana)? Thanks.
I'm not sure, but it does work in dryer climate like California. Even after three years it's holding tight.
this is awesome and incredibly helpful, thank you, but god i want to eat that putty so bad.
How can we remove it,will it damage the wall ,thanks you
Is it safe to use on Hardi (Cement) Board Siding?
Hi. Put it this way. Once dry, this putty is rock hard and will probably outlast your siding.

Hi Rick, Thank you for the video. Do you think it would work in cold climate ( zone 6b )? and my wall is red brick.

@@tvprich Thank you! Appreciate the answer to my question. I will definitely try it.
Wow does that take all the weight of vines ?
I've had mine hold for two years now...
Does it work on roses?
This technique will work with almost any plant or bush...
