Could have been lots of things but one thing I noticed is some times there is something that eats the stem of the bean and you don't know tell it's to late:)
I never knew drills had "hammer settings" I have been using old school electric drills (with annoying extension cords) for years. NO MORE !! I'm buying a cordless drill with plenty of torque!! asap!! THANKS!!!
“Dewalt” Girl Here ❤️ There is a difference between a “Drill” and a “Hammer Drill”...... Ask questions before making a purchase.....and “Cordless” is the way to go, a dream come true ❤️ Tapcon screws, are great for Masonary jobs.
Aren't you concerned that you are permanently marking up a fairly nice looking brick wall with screw holes to hold something as simple and light as strings in place? Seems like a little overkill and a little too permanent for my taste. I assume a bunch of blue screws in a wall are an eyesore when you aren't growing green beans, so assuming you remove them, aren't the holes sort of ugly to look at?
This is the perfect solution to grow peas in my small garden, thank you for sharing.
The blue screws end up turning to a darker color and the holes are hardly noticeable:)
