I have a theory that Circe is lying about the end of the world, and is really using it as a way to get the Creature Commandoes to kill the princess. A twist to a twist, huh?
Nah, my theory's that Waller's unthinking knee-jerk reaction to the prophetic vision Circe shows her- of immediately dispatching a US task-force to assassinate the Princess and effective head-of-state of a foreign country- IS what sets that chain of apocalyptic events into motion in the first place. Where else would that set of scars across the future Princess's face in that vision come from, if not The Weasel's claws? And how else would the Princess be motivated to embark down that path of proclaiming war against the USA in the first place? IMHO, Circe isn't lying about the events of the specific future timeline that she showed Waller at all. But she is deliberately refusing to mention the fine-print that "this is what will happen IF YOU DO AS I SAY".
That makes .... no sense at all. C'mon man. Zodd controls minds and he's clearly NOT the main villain but who else could control Zodds mind and the Princess that we have seen in DC shows & even in the background of TJL film? Granny Goodness.
From Circe’s vision we can see that the princess is clearly evil. They made a comment in episode one about how the princess’s entire family are all ugly, then we saw her mother or grandmother as basically catatonic. I’m gonna guess the princess is stealing the “youth” from her family members. She’s probably like hundreds of years old. Therefore, I’m not too worried about the relationship between her and Flag.
Nah, I'm guessing that Princess Ilana's James Gunn's re-imagining of Alianna Hubbard- the first human Female Fury, after Granny Goodness boom-tubed into her bedroom as a little girl and made a deal with her to resolve her household's (i.e, royal house/kingdom's in this version) turmoil and primitivism, as well as agreeing to enhance her physiology and hone her physical prowess- especially her endurance and resilience- to that of the average Parademon. And I'm guessing, provide the royal guard with those super-advanced armored battlesuits which Pokolistan's clearly incapable of developing and mass-producing itself as a 3rd world nation. In exchange for the distraught, well-meaning young girl agreeing to 'gratify Granny' by testing those abilities in combat against the designated enemies of Apokolips on Earth. Even if she were a vampire/succubus who derived her vitality from draining others' Life Force, and even with an alliance with Gorilla Grodd, there's no way that the Princess could achieve a fraction of the stuff she did in that vision via her own efforts. If she were doing it all as the purposefully indoctrinated and trained deep-cover Female Fury working for Apokolips' interests on Earth though, backed by Apokolips' technological and military might supplied via boom-tube, then successfully overcoming the might of the US military before killing off all noteworthy earth-based superheroes seems a lot more plausible...
The only thing that worries is inconsistency of branding. Will some costumes and personalities be consistent with the comics while others are a radical redux (which has hindered the MCU the longer it goes on). So far, we might have that. Wonder Woman looks accurate while Superman's S is a bad take on the Kingdom Come symbol. And will we get another bad Bat emblem? Then will other characters ne changed to suit a stunt cast actor/hot up and comer while others are not? That has hurt the MCU big time.
DC is SO back baby! My only gripe is that Circe has been SERIOUSLY nerfed. Apart from that? Creature Commandos and the Superman trailer both bode well for the DCU's future.
If the young girl is a look a like or the same, it might be a super emotional moment when Weasel confronts the Princess, either she'll try and manipulate him against the commandos only for her to double cross him or he'll reluctantly stay loyal to the commandos. Either way, I think the scar on Illana's face in the vision might be Weasel's doing, either tipping her off the edge or making her go mask off in revenge. Or maybe she'll use it sorta like Palpatine against the Jedi to enrage her people against the US.
Who says that they could, or ever did, in the future timeline? Circe just showed Waller a glorified slide-show, where she selected all of the slides for dramatic effect to present her desired narrative. And sending an official US military task-force into a supposedly friendly allied nation, to try to assassinate their effective head-of-state, would be universally recognized by the UN as an act of war- providing ample justification for a Pokolistani declaration of war against the USA, and the outbreak of WW3. With the members of the Justice League obligated to either stay out of the conflict, support HER side AGAINST the USA's military forces (since the Justice League's canonically subject to their UN's Charter, not the USA's), resign in order to keep protecting their cities, or outright disband the League. Sufficiently weakening the 'free world', and the superhero community, for the Injustice League/Society to be the ones who TRULY kill the Justice League (and Teen Titans') members and subsequently take over the world (or rather, ashes thereof) in the aftermath.
The thing that pissed me off is there’s no way a cop would shoot their gun while there’s even a chance it would hit a small child (they were popping shots at him and even ignore the girl as she got trapped under logs).
She wanted Circe dead as she almost killed the puny Princess. The real villain is likely Granny Goodness, controlling the Princess and eventually Grodd.
You know there's something i still don't get about the weasels that he didn't commit If there we're only eight children in the school then why was he accused of killing twenty-seven?
The Princess has to be Granny Goodness .. due to the advanced weaponry and able to to defeat Superman & Wonder Woman (semi-god). Either she somehow got a young body or ... mind control ... with the help of Grodd.
You were wrong with the batman part the reason they covered the cape to all his body was bcuz they are still trying to make a design for Batman in the DCU. So if they just made a design now then when the brave and the bold starts pre-production they have to design the suit like make a bat-symbol, the utility belt and plenty more, so if they just made the design now when the movie starts filming they might not be able to work out the correct design that was originally made in Creature Commandos. So they made the cape longer so it to fill the entire body so that suit can still be mysterious and hidden to us whilst giving them time to design the suit.

Figures it was grodd. This princess character doesn't have the potential to be a threat to the justice league. It makes sense that grodd's the one pulling the strings and controlling her army.
I liked the episode but I did not like the weasel ending. The cops can see that the girl is alive and instead of trying to grab her they end up just holding weasel down🤔🤔. So the girl gets killed and the cops just let it happen. I’m not saying cops don’t do dumb shit it just made 0 sense to me

@ bruh it’s a tv show writing a script I’m not talking about changing a whole narrative about the show. Just a better written scene relax. All the scenes you mention are changes to the fabric of iconic stories. All I’m saying is maybe the cop attempts to get the girl but she dies anyway
I also like when children befriend beasts, it is always endearing. And I also didn't like the romance with Rick Flag Sr. and Princess Rostovic, I found the princess to have a disgusting behavior
For me, it’s the opposite. Out of the four episodes, this one is my least favorite. Most of the runtime is spent setting up a new conflict, leaving little time for Weasel’s storyline. This made it hard to connect with the characters or care about what was happening. The little girl’s scream at the end was chilling, but that’s about all it left me with. The police’s actions felt especially weak. I get why they initially assumed Weasel had harmed the child, but even after he approached them, they shot him instead of helping(or even showing any intention to help). This felt inconsistent, especially since the little girl was visibly alive. The only explanation I can come up with is that they assumed the child was already dead and wanted to take Weasel down. However the way the scene plays out doesn’t really support that logic, as it seems clear the child is still alive. Despite this the officers, who are supposed to be saving the child, focus entirely on subduing Weasel, making the whole scene feel forced for dramatic effect, which pulled me out of the story. One thing I did like tho, was the contrast between Weasel and Eric. Both are monsters Weasel who’s done no harm, suffers due to human misunderstanding and ends up jailed for a crime he didn’t commit. If I’m not wrong, the tale of the misunderstood, kind-hearted monster is actually the story of Frankenstein. But Frankenstein(Eric), a purely malevolent figure who kills without reason, roams freely continuing his crimes
I’m just nitpicking but how would this princess take down Wonder Woman Superman and supergirl her taking over the world just doesn’t seem likely with those type of hero’s around
Think about what we know about Circe from the comics though, and consider that Circe just showed Waller a glorified slide-show, where she selected all of the slides for dramatic effect to present her desired narrative. Sending an official US military task-force into a supposedly friendly allied nation, to try to assassinate their effective head-of-state, would be universally recognized by the UN as an act of war- providing ample justification for a Pokolistani declaration of war against the USA, and the outbreak of WW3. Sufficiently weakening the 'free world', and the superhero community, for the Injustice League/Society to be the ones who TRULY kill the world's most prominent superheroes (who haven't already been forced into conflict with, and killed by, one another) and subsequently take over the world (or rather, ashes thereof) in the aftermath. Remember, Circe is a super-villainess and an expert manipulator. She probably didn't even falsify any of the specific 'future timeline screenshots' that she showed Waller in the vision at all. But she is deliberately leaving out the disclaimer that "these events are what will happen IF you follow the specific course of action I'm manipulating you to follow, since the person who'd really be taking over the world in this future timeline will be ME".
I didn't like how they treated Eric Frankenstein and Rick Flag Sr. To be honest like Frankenstein was on his way to kill Flag and he didn't bcuz he realized he wasn't in love with the Bride and they quickly became friends. Ok this is the same guy that killed two people on an helicopter bcuz he thought one of them made fun of him or underestimated him. So that same guy simply just starts to become friends with Flag even though he could've killed him bcuz him and Flag were in a brawl and I didn't find the jokes that Frankenstein made funny tbh.
He is a bit unpredictable. Kinda like a toddler. They can be yelling and crying in a minute and in the next they shut up and act super sweet giving kisses and hugs
@@michelle1181 Yeah but i didn't liked that part. I would've liked if they gave more depth in them other than just cut now it's friends time when they were trying to kill each other the past second.

2:50 That’s Green Beetle (Aka Nitida).
Two Black Lion videos in one day? I'm being spoiled
How coincidental that just today Nosferata showed up on my Superboy comic
Why not repair G.I robot i would love seeing more of him
I wonder what robot is in the Superman trailer
@ Superman’s butler literally
@@Pelicanzzz he is the guardian of foretress of solitude
My new theory replacing the Clayface one is that Illana is being controlled by Grodd, which is why she is so one note.
DC is SO back baby! My only gripe is that Circe has been SERIOUSLY nerfed. Apart from that? Creature Commandos and the Superman trailer both bode well for the DCU's future.
2:33 could also be Great White Shark
Why did need weasel man, that was unnecessary and unexpected, but james really cooked, i did not need to cry over a man-weasel 2 in the afternoon😭😭😭
I mean was just thinking that the scars on her face were because of weasel.
I mean it’s kinda obvious.
It’s hardest to believe that this regular army could kill the justice league and take over the world
Who says that they could, or ever did, in the future timeline?
I’m wondering in the Polistan soldiers are Gunn’s take on the Atomic Knights.
Can anybody confirm which music is being played in the background of almost every video in this channel ?
This series is so damn good! 🔥
If there's one thing James Gunn knows how to do, it's make us love goofy and obscure characters.
I’m into the show for the dcu lore really and not disappointed so far
The thing that pissed me off is there’s no way a cop would shoot their gun while there’s even a chance it would hit a small child (they were popping shots at him and even ignore the girl as she got trapped under logs).
Believe me, there is many ways that would happen in real life
Gunn truly gets character development and people still think he’ll ruin Superman 😒
I think the old lady is illana. Shes using her children to pass on her essence or switch them. But im sure the princcess is actually the old queen
Thankyou James gunn for saving DC
I'm thinking that the real think they needed to do is keep the princess alive but they were already doomed at the start as it is actually clayface.
Thing*
She wanted Circe dead as she almost killed the puny Princess. The real villain is likely Granny Goodness, controlling the Princess and eventually Grodd.
“Wonder woman in a leotard”…… that’s Donna Troy fs brother
You know there's something i still don't get about the weasels that he didn't commit
If there we're only eight children in the school then why was he accused of killing twenty-seven?
I think I owe the Weasel a huge apology.
The Princess has to be Granny Goodness .. due to the advanced weaponry and able to to defeat Superman & Wonder Woman (semi-god). Either she somehow got a young body or ... mind control ... with the help of Grodd.
This episode was both hilarious and tragic poor weasel
You were wrong with the batman part the reason they covered the cape to all his body was bcuz they are still trying to make a design for Batman in the DCU. So if they just made a design now then when the brave and the bold starts pre-production they have to design the suit like make a bat-symbol, the utility belt and plenty more, so if they just made the design now when the movie starts filming they might not be able to work out the correct design that was originally made in Creature Commandos. So they made the cape longer so it to fill the entire body so that suit can still be mysterious and hidden to us whilst giving them time to design the suit.
Ok it’s all common sense tho
@@kp1x Yeah and that's what I just said.
@HUNTER-v3c lotta yap just to explain essentially nothing.
@@kp1x What are you talking about lil bro?I'm saying this bcuz not many ppl understood it before when I said it. So why don't you get out of the basement and stop thinking your cool cuz your not
@HUNTER-v3c nah like were you born in the 2010s bc I feel like you commenting for no reason on what simple minded people can easily pick up on. It’s just artists planning things out like they’ve always done u a lil goofy bro I think u the one that needs sunlight be like Superman bro get some sun my brother
I'm in Love with This Show ❤️
I think it can be the best Animated Show of 2024 🔥🙏🏼
Thanks for identifying all those obscure characters. Incel/stalker Adam Frankenstein is funny, I love how much Gunn goes after neo nazis and Incels in his shows :D
Figures it was grodd. This princess character doesn't have the potential to be a threat to the justice league. It makes sense that grodd's the one pulling the strings and controlling her army.
By the way, do you guys think that Batman will actually Debut in Clayface
Those were... THE DUMBEST POLICE OFFICERS I'VE SEEN IN MY FUCKIN' LIFE!
It just occurred to me that they could do JLApe
This episode blew me away how good it was. The first 3 were a big meh for me but this one is just genius level.
Yes! The hot princess isnt clayface 😂
Goddamn it James gunn made me tear up and care about weasel
I liked the episode but I did not like the weasel ending. The cops can see that the girl is alive and instead of trying to grab her they end up just holding weasel down🤔🤔. So the girl gets killed and the cops just let it happen. I’m not saying cops don’t do dumb shit it just made 0 sense to me
Cops do dumb stuff like this all the time but it would be more believable if one policeman saw her and went to grab her. Then the log fell on her.
Origin stories are tragic bro. How come uncle Ben get shot in New York and not a single mf called 911. How come Bruce Wayne rich ass family don’t got a limo waiting to take em safely home instead of walking home thru mf crime alley. Why Superman parents don’t got a ship to go with their newborn when krypton die. You goofy bro stop thinking too much it’s just comic books bro. it’s all a life lesson sometimes life just doesn’t go the way you want it to but nah ig u ain’t ready for that lesson you wanna complain in the comments. tragedy is a weight always carried by heroes my brother and it sometimes ain’t even their fault bro it just really be like that fr
I’m not joking when I say this but I actually cried watching this episode
And in such a conflict, the members of the Justice League would be obligated to either stay out of the conflict, support HER side AGAINST the USA's military forces (since the Justice League's canonically subject to their UN's Charter, not the USA's), resign in order to keep protecting their cities, or outright disband the League altogether.
@@sundeepparhar1126 ah that makes a lot of sense
Even DCU isn't properly started yet and it felt more interesting whatever forced dceu wanted to do.
2:46 could be an genderswap version of Ambush Bug
But Ambush Bug isn't really a bug person. Just a dude in a custom. And he doesn't have multiple eyes.
Nina is the voice of reason
I hope weasel gets his back story.
He did already. Maybe more on how he came to be.
I’m guessing the princess is Clayface
Why couldn't batman for once be blue in the movieverse
Wtf did they do to Flag's hair, bro
NOT VIGILANTE! HES INVINCIBLE
“Not god….GRODD”
*Time to make DC Grodd again*
Mmm President Obama
Penguin and peacemaker this is 3rd
Im sorry but the cops and the guy with the Gun are not entirely understandable at ALL. Bro did not call to the kids at all, came back and the kids were all still fine, none were crying or screaming or hurt, he then watched them walk causally into the school. The police then shoot at him while carrying a child and do absolutely nothing to try to save the actual children, even going on to IGNORE the child to apprehend Weasel. They are not understandable at all- they are however realistic.
See ik you another one of them haters cuz think of it like this bro ima put it in perspective to get you to think differently from the messed up way you alr see comic books man. Read this and understand what I’m trynna tell you fr

Do you get it now Squidward?
I don’t buy that this princess girl can kill every major dc hero. Absolute cap
What I’m saying
She herself can't, she can command grodd tho and grodd is a high level villain
Considering grodd(a high level villain) is working aside her, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that other high level villains like lex, cheetah, vandal savage, sinestro are working alongside her aswell, she obviously had a lot of help from powerful beings
You're not very bright. Grodd can control minds including the Princess .. but he is not the main villain. Who can from the TV shows & Films ... can control minds, make advanced weapons, ... can easily kill Darkseid if "she" wanted to ....and is a brilliant military leader?
Granny Goodness.
Obviously there will be a whole plot behind it that will explain as to how her army gets significantly reinforced
Ha, I drew all of those panels
Wym
That’s was super sad
Nice

Superman's creation reflects the Jewish heritage of his creators, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Often portrayed as a relatable yet flawless superhero and moral example, Superman mirrors the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The name Kal-El (derived from Elohim, a Hebrew name for God) subtly nods to his creators' roots. In this episode, Superman is depicted as crucified like Jesus Christ. However, unlike Superman, who remains dead, Jesus Christ triumphs by resurrecting on the third day.
Brother. Relax. It's only entertaining character by a Jewish Man ... who likely is a Humanist Liberal who does not believe in an actual God of Creation ... and likely taught by his family & Rabbis that Jesus is the god of the pagan Greeks & Romans and the son of a whore.
Superman is almost like a God ... which is why he was given EL
It be completely funny if the future Circe actually saw was her watching a propaganda film that included princess and her "supposed" military conquest xD. The events did happen but it was just a film lmao
Fr? Am I tripping cuz ep3 was better🤷🏽♂️
