Seeing funky go through a lap of blizzard bluff in MKwii makes me realize and appreciate just how fast CTR NF is. Don't get me wrong, MKwii is a great game, for a whole bunch of reasons I can't get in to (played it myself too). But while most kids got MK64 or DD in 2000-2005, me and my older brother got the Og CTR. And I still love it to this day. Big props to the guys that remade the tracks in the Mario Kart games.
I wanna see some CNK tracks made. Even if you need to make them like their CTR Nitro Fueled remakes to remove antigravity, Assembly Lane, Out of Time, Deep Sea Driving, Meteor Gorge, they'd all work so well in Mario Kart.

after recently -suffering- playing through the entire n sane trilogy, I'm beginning to develop negative emotional attachments to these specific environments... the tracks are great tho

Maybe porting Electron Avenue from Nitro Fueled?

Yeah, a big reason for that is because a lot of the CTR MKWii tracks were made by the same creator; MysterE99!
Not all of them, Sewer Speedway and Roo's Tubes are missing for example.
