I’m also most likely going to upgrade from the 13 pro to the 16 pro, mainly because I want Apple intelligence & also the new cool hardware features, like the Action button lol.
I’m ready to upgrade from my 14 PM. With usb C and the 5x possibly even a 10x zoom and 48 mp sensor on the super wide cam it’s definitely going to be a bigger upgrade. So really being called an underwhelming upgrade is really a matter of perspective. I agree that it is coming from the 15 PM.

I'm honestly hoping to see more technology working together. like having Samsung and Iphone being able to video call without third party apps. aside from that I'm hopeful for more VR for gaming and for work.
Yeah if u have 15pro max then no point of upgrading to 17pro max 😂😂😂 it's better to upgrade every 3 yrs instead plus most providers let u return ur phones in order for u to get newer models and u just pay less than half of the full priced which I think it's way worth it cause after 3yrs ur iPhone looses more than half it's worth so providers giving $800 for it it's a way better deal than to upgrade every year and returning their phones and u paying like $50 each month on top of ur monthly phone service which would be too much ... Ur actually renting the phone essentially so it's not really urs 😂
My wife and I have been using the iPhone 14 Pro and we were hoping the cool new features coming out would be compatible but it looks like the new tech we are going for then is the 16 Pro’s.

I don’t have money to upgrade every year. What is more, I last time upgraded my phone from the 6 plus to my iPhone 13 which I’ve already been using for almost 3 years 😊. Hope I’m determined enough to get myself a nice iPhone in near future😅
can't wait for the iPhone 16 Pro! I've been rocking my 11 Pro with 512 gb for ages, waiting for it to start lagging so I have an excuse to upgrade. It’s still going strong, but I’m ready for those sweet new features XD
You can always resell your 14 Pro Max and put it towards the 16 Pro Max. I usually pay off my phone then resell to make back what I spent to pay it off. Yes you’re spending more again to finance another iPhone but depends on your needs. 16 Pro Max will have an upgraded camera and 8GB RAM compared to 6GB RAM for most folks you won’t notice a difference also a faster processor will be breaching 4ghz hopefully. The screen size is also supposed to be slightly bigger all in all if you’re happy with your 14 Pro Max it will easily be good until the 17 Pro Max.
I would fully recommend for u to hold on till the 17Pro Max and this is why... Apple already found a way to get rid of the notch for gud but isn't putting on the 16 since it was too late but the 17 models instead well actually idk if they're putting it on the regular 17 and 17 plus but the pros for sure so no more notch finally ... Theyre finally optimizing gaming since that's where Apple is falling behind and getting a new cooling system though I'm not sure which they will pick... Adding faster wired and wireless charging which is gud news u won't be stuck charging ur phone for 2hrs 😂😂😂 and better camera ... There's other features but it's software ... Also upgrading ur phone every 2yrs is not only wasteful it's dumb because battery is still gud while in 3yrs u see it diminishing so I think it's better to upgrade then... Most cell phone providers give u more for ur phone than it's actually worth so it's a better deal to return it to them because they can pay between $500-$800 depending on how well u take care of it... My sister still has her 13ProMax and I think she's gonna hold on till the 17pro max comes out cause she says her battery is still doing gud after 3yrs since she bought it
I'd say keep the 14 pro max, it's basically the same phone, the faster soc will barely be noticeable, camera performance will be slightly better, but no 3x portrait photos, and then usb C. Like the guy above, wait for some bigger changes
I'm currently on a samsung s24U but I'm missing iphone, i swapped from the iphone 14 pro. Excited to see what new features the 16 pro max will have. I really hope they will have some sort of the same "anti glare display" like the s24u, so that's its way better to see the screen while outdoors.

I will definitely be getting the iPhone 16 Pro and a pair of Apple AirPods! I’ve been waiting to get an Sonos era 300 and I still remain hopeful for a new Sonos arc in the future! You’d think that there would be more colors available for the Pro, and Pro Max, since they are the top dog in the line-up. Then less color options for the lower tier phones. Just seems more logical to me.

I'm really looking forward to getting the new 16 Pro Max! I got a 14 Plus and I really find myself needing the bigger sensor and extra camera sensor to get a wider variety of shots. Also, that new OLED iPad looks neat, saw it in a store and the quality is miles ahead of my M1 11" iPad Pro
I might consider buying the 16 pro max if the ultra wide camera gets a big upgrade. As I would not mind having 2 cameras when I record my educational videos to make my content more interesting than just adding b-rolls to them
