For the people who don't know why the Shinano is there ,it's because it was originally supposed to be a Yamato - Class Battleship ,but the the Japanese Navy needed more carriers then, converted her into one.

That's where I disagree, look what happened to Musashi during the hectic battle of the Sibuyan sea, she was part of Kurita's center Force but she was sunk thanks to a maelstrom of planes with bombs and torpedoes, and then during Operation Ten-go Yamato has her own flotilla of escorts with her and the Yanks are able to get the same result out of it, the Yamato's only has a good chance against it's contemporary warships if its engaged in a surface battle (for example a battle between the Yamato's and the technologically superior Iowa class ofc also considering real world physics such as the condition of the sea and the experience and training it's crew has etc.)

I notice that IJN Yamato, IJN Musashi, IJN Shinano, MITHC Yamato and Shikishima are the only Yamato's that are powered by Steam, The rest of the other Yamatos don't even have smoke or steam coming out of their funnels as most of them are Advance and Highly Modernized.
