Luka should've been the 2024 NBA MVP (or at least 2nd over Shai)

The 2024 NBA MVP voting results just released with Jokic winning the award, Shai in 2nd, and Luka in 3rd. In my opinion, Luka should've finished over Shai after averaging 34 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists per game.

Nope, they probably got it right. Jokic is the best player in the world. But MVP doesn't always mean Best Player (otherwise MJ the GOAT would have way more than just 5).
Shai should have been MVP this year, as he led his team from PlayIn to #1 in the West (and NOTHING to PlayIn last year); far more than either Jokic or Luka did during the regular season. Luka can win Finals MVP should they win the whole thing. ..
OKC is way ahead of schedule, and it is thanks in large part to Shai for not only his skill and abilities on the court but his attitude and personality - it's fully written and embraced on the franchise in the same way that Westbrook was back in the day (who was an MVP). Shai likely will get it next year, but IMO it wont mean as much as if would/should this season.
