Wow, I am speechless. Not only is this some of the best paleoart if seen, but this has so much detail and is very paleontologically accuracy. Bruh, even the number of vertebrae is roundabout, if not correct with 9 in the neck, 14 in the back and 5 in the sacrum (this can change with each individual.) I would love to be able to do this 😞
Oh PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do more time laps like this, i'm such a fan of your painting style and this an invaluable resource to learn from when rendering and layer correction are concerned and don't worry about lack of uploads it is more than worth the wait for seeing stuff like this. keep up the good work can't wait to see it in Dinosaur Art II!
A year ago, I decided to get back into sculpting. When I worked on an allosaurus, your artwork was my favorite reference. You made the animals so... humble. I didn't feel like I was looking at an alien or some scifi monster. I was seeing an animal for the first time. I knew those creatures you made. It was a huge inspiration for a hobbyist in a rut. Thank you.

When you started doing the details on Big Al, you did a lineart for it, did you draw over it later on, or did the lineart stay on top of all color, light and shadow? I love how tiered and somber the allosaurus looks in this piece. Little details like wrinkles and shades on it's face give so much character. I would definitely love to watch more paintings videos like this.

Big Al’s death was one of the most tragic deaths in the Walking with Trilogy, next to the Ornithocheirus and the baby Gastornis.
Don’t forget the female Tyrannosaurus from Death of a Dynasty.
