I listened to one obscure track that TH-cam recomended, and now I am finding a whole different world of music, vastly different from mainstream stuff. This is underrated.
Absolutely superb patch! I'm currently enjoying attempting to reverse engineer it and learning all sorts of wonderful tricks. Also, thank you so much for posting the VCV file on Patch Storage. A new sub for thee here, cheers!
*befaco :) Any compliment from you is an honor... thanks! Yes rampage is just like infinite ideas and noise plethora is... again infinite ideas LOL... just so much fun!
@@massimillennium I meant befaco, of course. I really need to synchronize the clock between head and fingers. I think I searched too often that day for a Bogaudio module in the vcv library XD
Super-nice, listening to this for my early morning work session. Love the staticy little beeps that jump around between the octaves, and the swelling bass synth, and the midrange pads :)
Maybe you need to start the muxlicers by clicking the start/stop button on the top at the center? If for any reason you don't have tangents another filter should do (even though Tangents, man... what a sound)
Reminds me of the Battlefield 3 soundtrack. A very great atmosphere. ---------- Me ha recordado bastante a la banda sonora del Battlefield 3. Una atmósfera muy lograda.
Thanks glad you enjoyed it! I am not really sure I actually have a method :) I usually just have an idea of sound, key/chords and of modules I want to use (e.g. brands, color pattern or something). Then I just force my self to just use the module collections i selected as it helps me learn better the capabilities and new functionalities for each module. I think that is kind of it.
Thanks Adrian! One full weekend, saturday morning to sunday night to conceive, build, rebuild, finetune and record the patch (including a few hours to design and build my custom Befaco blanks since I am really bad at design stuff, have no design tools and am ashamed to say I used powerpoint for that)
Thank you for your answer, Massi. What I can say is that the blanks look great and the patch sounds even better! :) I love listening to it. May I ask how long did it took you to learn VCV Rack in order to be able to create beautiful patches like this one?
Maybe you didn't start the muxlicers? To do that you must click the red switch on the top of the muxlicer that has a play/stop icon next to it. Hope it works :)
smoothly? Maybe a quantum computer :D Seriously, I use a surface laptop3 (core i7 16GB). 70% of the patch runs smooth, then adding the remaining 30% fans go crazy and patch becomes super glitchy. By enabling and disabling parts of the patch I can hear what is going on and finetune. The cool thing is that while you hear incredible glitches while recording, the output is without glitches. But 1 hour of recording this and the fans were screaming, screen blinking like in a night club.
This is the second patch of yours I've seen and it's riculous how amazing you've stitched that many patches together and make it sound so good. I'll have fun reverse engineering this one. Thanks for sharing
These fluctuations define matter and energy within a new alternative to String Theory i am working on called Patch Theory. Basically in this new model, at the quantum level lies the modular grid, strings are replaced by patch cables :D

welcome friend.
Same here, I misclicked a Haircuts for Men album ages ago and now I get all of this cool music that I would have never found before
@@spiwi1200 Yoooooo same!
Its not, mainstream is just overhyped as being mainstream while its actually a small part that really loves mainstream...
Woot-woot! Looks like I'll have to integrate VCV into my workflow.
Absolutely!
Would highly recommend, and I barely understand it

Georgeous track, congratulation ... keep it comming ;-)
Just when I thought I had some interesting generative stuff on my own, I instantly get humbled. This is fantastic stuff! You just earned a sub.
Thanks :) i just went quicly through your patch, quite interesting, the baseline is really nice and evolving!
I'm listening to this while working, really great track thanks Massi
Bogaudio has really nice modules. I especially like Rampage and the new Noise Plethora in this collection. Very nice patch :)

The random walk generators are Bog though. (But they've been set to match the Befaco color scheme.)
I am glad that I liked it ;) Thank you for creativity!

Thanks NICU!
This is Huge Patch!
Many Thanks for It!
It is Really amazing!
Indeed huge :D Thanks, I'm happy you enjoyed it
TH-cam's algorithm brought us to Massi's algorithm. Thanks Massi for this beautiful track.
Awesome tones, brilliant work Massi !
Thanks Marti!
Lovely track, great generative work !
thanks for sharing the patch, this is a really cool.. geat way to learn about modules i'd never tried before..

@@massimillennium yes i figured it out, honestly i was a bit confused, it's just a big patch.. anyway thanks though
this is some serious high level shit right here
Thanks! Really happy you appreciate it :)
got this in my recommended, very cool, will come back to check it out more cus now im sleepy as hell
Thanks!
great work! i've tried to do something similar a while ago but it was far away from yours. thx for sharing!
Thanks!
Incredible work my friend!
Thanks a lot!
I like it! Just subscribed!
Thanks!

Very verry good sound
Thanks!
Nice bit o' Ambient.
Nicer 'for me' when I dipped 3k5 a bit to smooth that gritty tone.
Very nice looking array 👍
Thanks! Will try that ;)
Thanks for reminding me what propellerhead reason 1.0 looked like the first time I opened it... Daunting 😅
Reason ❤️
Thats sum yummy tune seasoning right there !
❤
Thanks Mike!
Dude you gotta make a video on how you put this together amazing

rad

sounds awesome-- how are the modules interacting without patch cables?
the cables are set to fully transparent, you can see the knobs still
very nice fam
cool
sounds good. how long have you been doing this? also downloaded it for myself and loaded perfectly the first time. thanks
Thanks, happy to know that patch worked outside of my pc/environment. I've been into Vcv about 2 years now.
Absolutely gorgeous! May I ask how long did it took to come up with the patch?

Not yet, working on getting their though when the album project I am working on since more than 2 years will be ready :D
@@massimillennium keep at it! It's great stuff!

Mmm not sure those bandpassed baseline arpeggios are ideal for sleep :)
