This is the bike that I learnt to ride on. In 1972 my good friend bought this machine used. We spent lots of hours riding this bike. I sharpened my skills on this LS2 and bought a CT1 175 Trail in 1973. Two-strokes were the rage in those days ! Trinidad & Tobago. West Indies.
What beauty. You mentioned the 1157 light bulb and i laughed. Im the same age as you, but remember when everything ran a 1157 bulb. Trucks, cars, boat trailers, bikes. Those were the simple days. I still have three 1157 bulbs in my tool box. Thanks for your honesty.great bikes.
Despite once owning a 72 Yam stroker (DS7), I realised I knew NOTHING about the era's Yamaha street bikes under 125cc. This is a welcome revelation, and gorgeous work! 👍
My Dad bought one new, rode it for several years, then gifted it to me as my first bike, great memories of that little two stroke, the first of many Yammie ring dingers for me.
I love how you restore stuff as original as possible! Also anything auto oil injected I feel so much better knowing I did the mix incase it fails. As of probably all yamaha blaster owners probably know. :D
This was my first motorcycle when I was 12 years old and I just found one in my local area for sale on marketplace but I think it’s sold already bummer what a cool bike
I was 4 in 1969 my dad bought me a mini bike but my mom said I was to young to have . She said I could get a motorcycle when I was 12 I did not understand time at four years old I thought that was like next week ha ha. But when I turn 12 my dad bought me this exact motorcycle with 300 miles on it and paid two or $300 for it I loved that bike

Beautiful vintage 2 stroke streetbike. I love the two tone color. The bike looks new, fresh out of the crate!

Nice bike … 2 stroke were king and that is modern day city runs at any level of fun ! Prob better than any new grom 😂
