I was at my Greengrocer /meat store yesterday, wanting a lamb roast, and they are out of fresh Ontario lamb until Thursday. No leg , no chops, no racks O'lamb, so the prices should stay up. @@aquariusmoon771 Well, I’m an Aquarian also, and I’m glad she takes meat to the market. In fact, it’s why her family raises sheep! It’s how they can afford such luxuries such as utilities, food, mortgages and vehicles to get them where they need to be! Those market lambs are how they buy clothes for the whole family, pay for medical needs and take mini vacations (I say mini vacations because as farmers there is so very little free time to go far away on vacation, so they make do with a day or two away). Having said all that, (and leaving a lot unsaid) I want to suggest you scurry over to the vegan channels and bask in the glow!

Everyone who works in this industry has to make difficult decisions about sending their lambs to an auction, whether they are for breeding or for slaughter. Those lambs are loved, but remember, they have to make a living. They will have astronomical bills to pay, not only for themselves, but for any staff they employ. So please give that a thought before coming out with a comment of something we only get a snapshot view of, into someone else's day. Just to let you know that this is my opinion only, and I have never worked in this type of industry. But I always try to look at the bigger picture. Hugs and stuff from the UK ❤

To be sure that he is the right match for your daughter is a father's biggest emotional conflict. I was pretty lucky I didn't have to do much. My daughter's two brothers, when he spent his first weekend with our family. They chained a bowling ball to his leg for a whole night and day, and he stuck around. My daughter was not happy, but I was satisfied. They finally gave her the key to the padlock. Ken's only comment was it wasn't that heavy. BTW the chain was long enough so he could carry it in his hands.
I about fell out at 13:55 when you said its your 46th birthday! We were born on the same day, same year! I was born around 7:25 am with the imbelical cord wrapped twice around my neck. I praise God for having lived a very blessed life. It certainly has been a journey. Happy 46 birthday to you too!

Every area is different. I personally do alcohol orders several times a week and I have had numerous large orders where customers were ordering multiple 24 packs. Maybe your area is more strict 🤷♀️

Congrats on the award, you deserve it and so much more. Your an amazing role model to little girls and boys who want to be farmers or business owners in their future. You show amazing work ethic, which is great to see in this day in age because it seems like the work ethic that is in the work force now is no where near what I grew up seeing. I remember having to dress nice when I went looking for a job, I would go inside every business asking if they were hiring and if so I would do an interview on the spot or fill out the job application and wait for them to call me for a in person interview. Now everything is online, or over the phone, it's not as personable as it use to be, and I have seen so many people that work in my field as stylist/barbers not willing to put in the work it takes to grow their clientele or business, they expect it to be handed to them and not have to work hard. Just watching you I can see how much work you put into your business, and the amount of time you put into it to grow your business, all while being a mom, wife, business owner and a teacher(my kids and I have learned alot from your videos). Your doing an amazing job showing the world a glimpse of what sheep farming is all about and what it takes to keep a farm running.

I am an instacart shopper and I recently just shopped for $1,238 worth of alchohol for 1 customer. I definitely got a few looks lol
Instacart goes by legal restriction and won’t allow you to buy that much. I couldn’t even get a 24 pack
Every area is different. I personally do alcohol orders several times a week and I have had numerous large orders where customers were ordering multiple 24 packs. Maybe your area is more strict 🤷♀️

Congrats on the award, you deserve it and so much more. Your an amazing role model to little girls and boys who want to be farmers or business owners in their future. You show amazing work ethic, which is great to see in this day in age because it seems like the work ethic that is in the work force now is no where near what I grew up seeing. I remember having to dress nice when I went looking for a job, I would go inside every business asking if they were hiring and if so I would do an interview on the spot or fill out the job application and wait for them to call me for a in person interview. Now everything is online, or over the phone, it's not as personable as it use to be, and I have seen so many people that work in my field as stylist/barbers not willing to put in the work it takes to grow their clientele or business, they expect it to be handed to them and not have to work hard. Just watching you I can see how much work you put into your business, and the amount of time you put into it to grow your business, all while being a mom, wife, business owner and a teacher(my kids and I have learned alot from your videos). Your doing an amazing job showing the world a glimpse of what sheep farming is all about and what it takes to keep a farm running.
