Jonathan Haggerty vs. Tawanchai. I want them to fight. The dream boxing match of many people.
I trained with Jo for years during the time he was really active in Lion Fight and One, so it's cool to see you watch this fight
Do more of these!
After watching did you think someone was a clear winner?
I thought this was a super close fight.
I thought it could have gone both ways, either one of the guys could have won, in this case Tawanchai did, but amazing performance, from both of them, non the less.
Should being first to strike be favored over counter-striking? Curious if it “counts” as more aggression and control.
Draw or close edge to Nattawut for landing the better punches, doing visible damage in Round 2, and finishing the fight strongly in Round 3. Not to mention the fact that none of Tawanchai's major attacks seemed to have any damaging effects on Smokin' Jo.
As a fan of both, I'd be content with either of those decisions. However, it's so close that giving Tawanchai the victory is certainly not a "robbery" as some claimed. But once again, I do give the edge to Nattawut.
This was definetly, a super close fight, round 1 was a draw, because nothing of consequence landed, for either fighter, round 2, was for Nattawut, because of the good early start, by his boxing hands, and round 3 was Tawanchai, even tho Nattawut, clipped him good, near the end, Tawanchai landed more kicks and such, but in terms of damage, nobody visibly got hurt, and it was definetly, a hard round to score, I definetly agree with you Gabriel!
So close this one. One of these vids with the Tawanchai Petchmorakot fight would be awesome
I agree with the decision for Tawanchai: while Nanawut responded very well and even won some good exchanges, Tawanchai seemed to be dictating the entire fight and like you mentioned Gabriel, Nanawut seemed like he was only responding to Tawanchai’s game plan rather looking for his own. Especially at this Muay Femur range Tawanchai is exceptional at I don’t see many out technique-ing him.
That’d being said I totally hate the no catch rule that has been implemented as I believe we all agree kick catching, sweeps, trips, and dumps are an integral aspect of fight sports.
Hope the recovery is going well otherwise cheers Gabriel!
You just described a counter puncher
Ok! It's a good example to compare to Buakaw vs Saenchai! That's why many people didn't see that fight genuine!
Good day Gabriel Varga! Could you plz tell the main point of doing switch kick to the body with shinguards? It's not too powerful and people doesn't get hurt. Sometimes people block just one hand and don't get enough damage
Super close fight, I think people just too drawn to Nattawut's round 2 edge. That being said, I do feel like something was off with Tawanchai in this fight. Idk if he had a rougher fight camp than usual or was still adjusting to kboxing, but it just didn't feel like his cool calm collect crisp self from other fights. Could also be Nattawut had more ring pressure than previous opponents, but Tawanchai's previous opponents were no slouches either.
In a kickboxing match, Tawanchai was once knocked out by a second-tier Chinese opponent. I feel his performance in kickboxing is not as impressive as in Muay Thai; the use of elbows is restricted.
@@mason2011jia aoqi is not second tier tf u talking about
@@h_c_l_w1123 wins against petchtanong, tawanchai and ilias bulaid is a pretty legit resume
Look at tawanchai he has a tattoo on his side he has been just spoiling instead of training
This might be his downfall
Watching the fight for the second time with your tutelage Gabe I'm not sure who won. First time I thought it was Tawanchai, now I'd probably score a draw. I reckon that Tawanchai led the dance most of the time while Nattawut was on the back foot. I am surprised that Tawanchai's left baseball bat had no visible effect on Nattawat. Great breakdown of a great fight, thanks Gabe🙏
Buakaw's breakdown of this fight was great and puts Nuttawut's resilience into perspective. He called the fight for Tawanchai for scoring higher with more solidly connecting/clear kicks.
Probably the most two interesting and entertaining fighters in one right here. Def skilled beyond belief. As far as the decision, I'm not familiar with kickboxing scoring. I also don't like the fact that there are no catches sweeps clinching. Was a good fight though👍I'd like to see these two in a Muay Thai 4oz glove match.
Super close. Are kicks valued more than punches? I think T landed more kicks, esp body kicks...not sure N even threw body kicks. T was the aggressor clearly, so you must give him that edge. Maybe a slight edge w landed punches for N, but valued less than kicks?
Narrow win for T. No way that's a 'robbery'.
How do you think you could do against Tawenchi?
I think the right man one just about!
Yeah it was superclose but Tawanchai scored more
I agree tbh
Warrior strength Muay Thai baby!
❤
Tawachai nose broken and lead leg very damaged. Nattawut wins a close fight

Tawanachai vs chingiz
Chingiz would take his head off
I believe that in kickboxing rules, Tawanchai might not defeat Haggerty or Superbon. However, in Muay Thai rules, I am more optimistic about Tawanchai. By the way, I hope the commentator can analyze the kickboxing fighter Petchpanomrung.
I agree with not defeating haggerty (if they were in the same weight class) but for Tawanchai, Superbon is very defeatable. Superbon's style is not something Tawanchai has a weakness against.
I love Tawanchai this fight was by far the worst ive seen him but it was razor close and good
Smokin Jo won! Fun fact, I've trained with Jo and he's a beast. He was also apart of my Kru test.
Tawanchai doesn't seem to respond well to being pressured, imo. At least in the fights I've seen from him. He gets visibly frustrated when hes getting pushed and doesnt have the poker face others have.
Petchmorrakot (sp) pressured him and he was visibly frustrated, and imo lost that fight. If I recall, he lost to Sittichai (though admittedly that was also a very close, stand and bang type of fight). And here, Nattawut looked very good and won exchanges where he pressured, if only by a little bit.
I think the pushback here stems from the fact that One pushes Tawanchai as though he was already a Buakaw, Saenchai, Rodtang, or Lerdsila level athlete that's gone on very long, dominant win streaks when in reality hes had very closely contested matches that could've gone either way.
Dont get me wrong, hes young and an elite level, highly skilled striker that does deserve to be recognized and compete at the top of the card. I just think that people arent responding to Ones hamfisted approach towards making him the next big thing.
Tawanchai won
