First time watching, I thought Petmorakot had the advantage. Second time, I notice more how he was trying to pass off hitting Tawanchai's blocks as real hits when they aren't. Definitely to his credit he pushed Tawanchai out of his comfort zone, that alone was quite remarkable. Still, on the second watch, I agree with the decision, but man, that was close. Very impressive fighters, both.
I don't know much about the rules of this ring, but if they score teep too, then that's probably why Tawanchai kept quite a lot points in the first 2 rounds. I'm cheering for Tawanchai and the fight is so good I can't almost tell who's winning, most points from Petchmorakot is by countering Tawanchai attacks and Tawanchai lands quite a lot punch too, great fight for both.
Who else here cause they randomly landed on one Tawanchai fight loved him and now they're looking for all he's fights.
Fantastic fight by both, kept me in my toes all rounds, Rematch soon !

This was my first Muy Thai fight and now im hooked
The commentator rooting for Petchmorakot probably had a meltdown shortly after the winner was announced.
ikr commentator was so clearly biased it was annoying
he probably placed a huge bet
Yeah man, did you know that Petchamorakat left the one championship after this match, he wasn't happy with judges decision 🙄 he won't be fighting for One anymore. Not only him but his gym resigned from One. 5 more fighters and Petch left the One

@@Jash-0p heard the same thing. They were complaining about unfair treatment, like being flown coach while Tawanchai sat first class, but they have been gifted many ridiculous decision as well. They have an awesome stable of fighters so this is a big loss for ONE...
It was a short, glorious road to the title. Great fighter.
I don’t see how anyone had Petch winning the third round.
So many Tawanchai kicks went unanswered… commentary was bias.
a kick to the side of the arm is not scoring at all :)

@@bjornmuller7205 dudes body and chest got teeped so hard like a million times this fight, he went back like 4 5 meters every time
i admire the ref's ability to speak thai, respect.
What a fight, pure display of technique from both fighters 👏
two fighters with equal skill at the highest level, each with their own technique! That was a fight and an art at the same time!!
Tawanchai kneeling and respecting him Petchmorakat at the end of the match was everything.
So how exactly is MT scored in ONE championship? Does anyone have a source for that?
First time to see Taiwanchai really in trouble
Petch look like rodtang he very tanky tawanchai said
Had to double check if the video was sped up ,these lads are fast!!
Damn what a match up. Don’t think I’ve ever seen such perfect technique and timing from both fighters.
what a fight. these Muay Thai fighters are tough as nails. blow for blow. this is more intense than an MMA fight. I also really like the sportsmanship in this sport.
This was tough for both fighters. You never see Tawanchai so roughed. He couldn't be relaxed here like he normally is.
That's got to be one of the best MT fights I've ever seen, legends.
Close but Petchmorakot 3-2
ชอบการชกของ ตะวันฉาย ที่สุดเลย ชกได้ถึงใจ
The respect in Thai sport is to be admired. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Holy Cow!!😮😮 . Is this video sped up?? These fighters are very quick. Wow. Their speed is amazing.
Fantastic effort from both fighters. What a fight!
It's the first time I've ever seen bith fighters absolutely enjoy every second of it
Tawanchai is the best 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Congratulations champ 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I wish I could have seen them under full Muay Thai rules.
What a beautiful fight, a lot of respect, a lot of very good sportsmanship. Just beautiful to watch.
For the last 26yrs I have been living in Thailand and this most Thai sport of all has become very dear to my heart. What was on display here was more than just a boxing match, it was Thai culture. Beautiful!
The White Lotus was right … the right person won.
Tawanchai's kicks are unbelievably fast
Pro Tip: Watch without sound or ignore the commentary.
Anyone please explain how are these fighters able to take those brutal kicks to the leg? Is there a special training they go through? Or is it just insane pain management they learn during training?
conditioning over years, your leg becomes strong enough to take those hits
@@tomassipone98 Thank you for your answer. What does conditioning entail? Hitting repeatedly on a bag? Or something more?
I was routing for Tawanchai, but shocked they gave him the win. I’d definitely give him the 1st 2 rounds but the last 3 not so much.
best fight i've ever seen so far. the amount of IQ and technique is INSANE + the damage they handle is out of this world
Viscous fight...Just like the Temple fights 🙏
Stunned him twice, slow to come out afterwards, then went to clinching, hit with real leg power many times, no one else could beat Petchmorakot, worthy champ.
what????? when he won?
just incredible to watch the skill of both fighters, and the respect they show each other is so admirable.
If the decision were correct there would be no potetential for an immediate rematch, which would cost the company money. Petch "loses" so ONE can win.
Credit to both fighters. They each have bigger hearts than we mere mortals. But there was only one victor there - and it wasn't the guy who was given the belt.
Amazing to watch, both phenomenal fighters! I was surprised by the result, Tawanchai looked surprised also :-)
Yoooo that knock out combination was insane … the right had power but the trajectory of that left was insane.
It's really too bad we may never see a rematch between these two. I really thought Petchmorakot had this on a split decision. At least if actual Muay Thai rules were used. One can only hope.
What’s the difference in rules?
@@Workd05 the fight will not end until someone loses consciousness ,i think tawamchai would lose if real Muay Thai rules are applied
@@Workd05 but if it's on One championship the rules ofcourse would be changed a lot
@@glen4293 interesting 👌
quite the opposite. Actual rules score kicks more, Tawanchai landed a ton of them, seeing how they favor punches more then traditional rules in onefc im surprised they gave it to tawanchai
The respect of both after the fight was so nice! I love Thai people
earned my sub just for posting the full fight, the amazing performance from both was an added bonus :)
