After several months of testing here's our full review of the Kinefinity Mavo LF.
The camera was tested here in the UK as well as in Mexico the Dominican Republic and Ireland 🇬🇧 🇲🇽 🇩🇴 🇮🇪
We feel excited and confident about the images we've been able to produce using this camera. It's added tremendous value to our productions and we're excited to be able to share our pro's and con's of using this camera with you.

Thanks for your thoughts and feedback on this camera! I'm leaning towards this option as well as the Komodo however, for run & gun doc style shooting situations, it seems to me the Mavo LF is a really solid option. Thx again. ✌🏽
I love the results from the kinifinity cameras. I can't afford one but I'd love to rentone for a project

Thanks for your review. I’m looking to move from a Fujifilm mirrorless hybrid and like the kinefinity range. Does not having autofocus limit your run and gun style, or not.? I watched another reviewers video who was extolling autofocus as a concept on cinema camera like the FX9 , but he uses the kinefity Mavo LF too so is it something one gets used to either way?

Hi John, I haven't actually tried updating yet mate. I'm deep into a project currently so didn't want to mess around until after. I'll report back when I get around to doing an update.

It was a NICEYRIG wooden handle. If you want to use it the way I do don't forget to buy a left handed one! Most are right handed.
What are your thoughts on Mavo Edge 8k?
Haven't looked into it that deeply but from the overview it looks very nice. It's got the ND filters built into the body now, so that's pretty cool.
File sizes are probably insane. I mostly shoot with my LF in 4K and that already takes up a huge amount of hard drive space.
@@wildricefilms3464 I would expect the Mavo Edge raw file sizes to come down substantially from Mavo LF given they are utilising an ProRes raw - which is pretty economical from my experience, especially over the LF's Cinema DNG. Oversampling in-camera down from 8k would be a huge space saver too... lets see if they hit the image quailty nail on the head.... could be a home run for Kine!
