Little confused are you barring all 6 strings with you Index finger like a moving Capo of does it just look that way ? Your chord illustration looks like you covering all the strings then playing the chord above it hope you get what I'm saying. I am self taught no Theory I just have an ability comes natural but I watch the fretting hand to find where and what I need to be doing HELP please ... Love this song wanna Rock it out a bit with some Gain see how that comes out
Hey there! Yes, on the bar chords, my index finger bars the strings. Example: On the C#m7 I’m barring from the C# and all strings above it, 5 strings total. For the F#m7, I’m barring from the F# and all strings above it, 6 strings total. On the chord charts it shows which strings you don’t want ringing with an X also. Let me know if that helps mate!
