@@santinoszkromeda2286 it went well, actually. I got a lot of awesome reactions and even got most of them singing it, i miss being in band now. Sorry about the laste ass reply, i just saw the comments.
Great classic Dave! Awesome structure to the lesson BTW. I slip an Fdim7 in place of the C#7 for a bit of spice! On the chorus also just before G/A. Nice to see someone honouring the Funk.
Thanks Dave, this is absolutely first rate. Yours is by far the best treatment of this song I could find on line, and you have saved me a ton of time! Subscribed!
I think it's important to know, the guitar 2 intro, does NOT start on the and of 1, it starts right on 1, and it's 2 eighth notes - the rest sounds great!
Is there a special way you need to tune your guitar? For some reason the chords sound way different on my guitar. I checked the tuining and it was fine
@@1TreukFlyyy the D major 7 chord functions as the IV chord in A major. The A11 chord throws a bit of a curve because you think that that is the V chord of D but in fact it's just a secondary dominant.
thank you for putting the C#7 in there.
Never even noticed it but I’m glad I know it’s there now! It does sound really nice
I've got a month to learn this. I got this shit. I'mma play it in the band room at school on the 20th. Thanks man!!
Good luck actor Don cheadle of marvel studios

It’s standard tuning EADGBE.
@@DavePriceGuitarist alright thanks!
Do you know what kind of guitar he uses on the LP? Is it a Strat or flying V or something like that?
Only people on the 21st night of September can like
What key is this song in pls ?
I think of it in terms of F# minor/A major.
@@DavePriceGuitarist I was thinking B minor (D major).
