does anyone feel like they have depression when in real life they’re just really overly sensitive and cry at everything because same edit: i’m sorry if it sounded like i was self diagnosing, i didn’t want to have that effect on anyone. i know depression is very different from that, i have many friends and relatives who suffer from it. i don’t want to sound insensitive or rude at all, so thank you to the people who pointed it out
1) aloe bud | self care daily reminders 2) meditation | meditating app 3) reflecty | journal your thoughts 4) day one | journaling app (records every aspect of your day | eg weather 5) plant nanny | water tracker Your welcome ☺️
I use plant nanny and also another plant one called Viridi which is a calming and cute app where you grow succulents. I like this one better than plant nanny because the plants don't die if you forget to water them for a day! haha and the music is relaxing. I also like momentum which is a minimalist habit building app!
I know you guys didn't need this but I was bored :)♡♡ 1. 0:09 - Aloe Bud 2. 0:39 - The Meditation App 3. 1:05 - Reflectly 4. 1:43 - Day One 5. 2:09 - Plant Nanny
Plant nanny!! I used to drink very little water myself! In fact, I used to drink iced tea more than water. The app is really helpful and the fact that I'm watering a plant while drinking really motivates me. Awesome video by the way, super helpful!! :D
Please notify if the app has a paid version, because it sucks if we like the app u recommended thinking its free when its actually paid and we only get to use like 30% of what u said in the video Thankss!! ^^
hi hi! to my fellow android users who cant be bothered i wanted to help out :) 1. aloe bud - n/a 2. the meditation app - n/a 3. day one - available 4. plant nanny - available 5. reflectly - available
I personally love to use Flo as my period app -it's super accurate, lets you log lots of different factors about your day such as water intake, mood and physical symptoms, and is really cute and discreet :))
I am in love with your videos!!! Oh my gosh, they can seriously calm my anxiety attack in seconds, I’m so blessed for finding your channel!! I hope you’re having a great day! 💕🕊💐
I would also recomment these apps: 1) Rebel- It's a health and fitness app and the app contains exercises, meditation, healthy food dishes, yoga and more. 2) Intellect- This app focuses on your mental and psychological state and it also has journaling area and mood tracker. 3) dreamfora- if you like to track your habits and dreams then it's the perfect app for you. And there's also a graph that shows your progress everyday. 4) Picky- It is a skin care app that helps you regarding to what are the producta that are good or not good for your skin.
i dont know if this app is a self-care app, but i like to use Taskade because its simple to use and you can organise your day, your week and do to do list and things like that.. i really like that to stay organized with my homework
for those with andriod: *which of these are available?* |aloe bud: no |the meditation app: no |reflectly: yes |day one: yes |plant nanny: yes *i hope this helped some of yall, im not sure if its 100% correct but its worth checking*
if you are going through depression, anxiety or any other mental illness, especially if you are suicidal, you should check out this app called calm harm.
I recommend Shine it's very relaxing and I have only just used it and already felt some of my burdens and stress from today leave my body from a simple 4 minute podcast.
Ooo okay I have a couple that I have in my self care app folder. 1. Cove. Idk if you’d count this as a self care app but it calms me down so I do. Basically what it does is you in a way “create music” but not really. You choose a background noise and a couple other things and then in the end you save it and you can always listen back to it. It helps a lot to release emotions and if you’re maybe someone who likes to release emotions through music this might be a good app for you. 2. #SelfCare. One of my absolute personal favourites. You’re basically in a bedroom with a bunch of activities around the room to do to calm yourself. There’s the basic activities when you first download it but as you go on I’m pretty sure you unlock more. 3. Motivation. It gives you quotes that motivate you ig. I like it because quotes make me feel so happy, especially motivational quotes and if you’re someone who likes daily little quotes then you should get it. 4. Self Checkout. Basically everyday you choose how you’re feeling. you can add or remove emotions, add triggers for why you feel that emotion, add self care activities to remember to do when you’re feeling a certain mood and it also shows you your overall mood in the past week and month. That’s all I have for now. I’ll update this with more if I get anymore.
thank you so much for the recommendations, these were so helpful i just found three of my new favorite apps. this was very much needed. god bless you 💌
OMG this is such a helpful videoooo. I like the thumbnails and stuff, they're like really cute. But one question, does anyone know about an app similar to Aloe Bud(the first app featured) but it's for Android? I can't seen to find one like it for Android
i use one called tide! it has 4 different modes- focus (for studying, you can change the timer and whatnot to suit your needs), sleep (either a sleep timer or nap timer), meditate (guided meditations for whatever, i use it for waking up and going to sleep), and breathe (breathing method timers)!!
One id like to add is an app that’s literally called #selfcare, it has a bunch of lil mini games and positive affirmations to get your mind to slow down a little bit and breathe
In case you don't have too much time or don't want to watch later. 1. Aloe Bud Cute, gives you reminders. Kinda just a cute calender. 2. Meditation Meditation app 3. Reflectly Focused on how you feel. Like journaling or writing in your diary, just, on your phone. It asks questions like, "How do you feel today?" 4. Day One Specifics, there is a desktop version, kinda like the previous one. 5. Plant Nanny Reminder to drink water, you also water a little plant. 😊
Another really good app that I recommend to anybody who has the time to sit down and reflect on their feelings for the day is Mood Notes. It might cost a few bucks but, it's really worth it and it helps you re-evaluate your day and what might've caused your negative/posstive feelings.
You don’t need a self care app, the app won’t help your future. Just give time to yourself, drink water everyday, eat healthy foods, exercise, take a bath everyday, also love yourself. That’s how you take care of yourself 💗
1. Clue for your period tracking needs. I like the UI and the design and it usually also has little posts with information about your menstrual cycle which is usually linked to actual scientific papers and studies, which is important to me. 2. Tab for a Cause is a lot like momentum where it's a tab extension that brings you to a page when you open up a new tab. However, the catch is that the new tab will have ads on them and each of the ads create revenue and that revenue can be donated to a charity of your choice. Conservation International is my main go to charity in this case. I like the idea of being able to help the world simply by clicking ads. The ads are also conveniently placed at the side so it doesn't interfere with the center the page. 3. Fortune city is a finance tracking app that builds a city for every time you track your expenses. It's really useful for people like me who find finance tracking really boring and I love the design and the plethora of characters available in the game. Some of them even give you tips on how to better manage your finances. 4. Tide is a timer app that comes built in with music/background environmental sounds and can work like a pomodoro timer for studying, a really nice nap timer (plays sounds for you to fall asleep to and then wakes you up after a certain amount of time) and a sleep timer that plays sounds till you sleep then wakes you up the morning. 5. If you have an android phone, frog weather is really cute and will show you the weather with a cute illustration of a froggy doing random things depending on the weather of your location. (Such as going to the beach or roasting marshmallows)
So I love reflecty, but for some reason, it never works! Recently every time I try to make a new story, It shows a little things, and it’s like, “something went wrong” and it’s really weird.. does this ever happen to you?
Another good one is Woebot, it’s a great app if any of you out there have anxiety, depression, and even OCD. It gives you great tips on how to cope and basically like a little robot friend.
how do you guys feel about these new thumbnails? :)
Jem looks good!
Jem very cute! :)
will definitely miss your mini text thumbnails, but im loving the new thumbnails bc they show ur creativity and its so nice overall 💓
Love them ! :D
I agree I think that they still fit your simple style, but with a lil more flair! I honestly love them
It's ironic that studying is actually self-care for me because I when I procrastinate I panic and worry the whole time
Wow you're the first person I have ever come across that has this too hahaha
Same for me too
I've never thought about treating studying as self care to prevent panic and worry, but I do the exact same. Thank you for the different outlook ☺️
Same. When I know I have things to do it makes me stressed
Saaameee
I should be studying and all but I’m with a face mask and listening to music and pretending it’s “self care”
oubluas Lmao sammme

Phoeb Stegosaur same, i use it to track my period instead of more specifics because I never know how long my period lasts
I like to use spot on, it’s accurate and connected to planned parenthood so if ever needed you can make an appointment from your phone.
Personally I use clue it's simple discreet and you can personalize many things
Me- a fourteen year old boy commenting on a period tracking comment section just because
Lol I don't even use an app I just write when my period started and ended on my calendar

I would also recomment these apps:

2) Intellect- This app focuses on your mental and psychological state and it also has journaling area and mood tracker.

If you are stressed out often I suggest #selfcare it’s an app that has multiple games and meditation exercises to help get you calm.

Sanvello(used to be called Pacifica) has a lot of these features combined in one little app✨meditation, journaling, reminders, motivation, etc.
