I'm sure you may already know. But do check inside books and flip through the pages. I've found many items stashed away inside them. Like my best find was a 1800s trolly train pass. Also many old people didn't believe in banks and would stash money inside them.
It looks like that note about the Ming dynasty item says $115,000. At 18:35. Their appears to be another one next to the dollar sign. I say go get that thing appraised asap lol.
Chase, like I keep telling you, do not be surprised if Ron just keeps “finding” different things for you. You may be making at least two more visits to see him!! The man is amazing!!
I started buying from Ron at his shop back in the 70's. My parents were some of his first customers. He has always been the same, always awesome. It is good to see him again and to see that he is still helping others enjoy their hobbies.
It’s 4:08am and I have work in three hours. I cannot stop binge-watching this series. I find myself searching for a purpose, looking for peace at all hours of the night. Chase, you inspired an idea within me. Kindled a fire. Thank you.
These videos are always fun. You might want to add some easy boxes. The stuff that's super easy to list and comp. The sale prices might not be as high but you'd have to get to them eventually and on the days that you all are super busy but you are doing your daily listing challenges having an easy box ready might come in handy.
Going through these boxes would be too much fun. You never know what goodies Ron had squirreled away. Also, lemme guess that the blurred coin is a "Heads I Win, Tails You Lose" coin. I found one of those in a coinstar machine, along with some silver change. Always check your coinstar machines!
Hey Chase, the hot wheel treasure hunt series started in 1995. The most valuable ones of that years series is the #3, white camaro- no decals and #9 pink vw bug. Not sure on the prices anymore but when I sold off my collection in about 2010, the camaro was getting about 1500-2000 and the bug was about 900.
OMG THOSE BUTTONS AND TOKENS ARE SO COOL!!!!! assume minimum $2 each $5 is probably actual low end and some can vallues hundreds even thousands of the right one, I love the first you pulled out Soo much
One thing I really like is the long-haul goal of 1m view count on this series. Would That pay for the haul? Hoping you make 6 figures. You seem like a Really good boss.. and you've been doing it for a long time. Hope sky and al enjoy working for you and can manage 60 with commission. That would make me happy if all that is true. Good Luck! and work hard. Merry Christmas.
THANK YOU for the eBay app tip! Took me a minute to figure out that I had to click the lock icon next to each setting individually, but I fingered it out! I don't think ANY of the 'pickers' I watch on here know about that feature. I always see them search then filter to sold. Makes more sense to me to check sold prices first, and if there's not a lot of sold, THEN go see how many are up for sale. Thanks again!
I use it too but also check how many used and new there are online because even if it’s a deal if theirs 500 listed online it’s gonna take a long time to sell
Treasure Hunts The 1995 through 2012 Treasure Hunts can be located by a green stripe with “Treasure Hunt” or “T-Hunt” on the packaging. As of 2013, the packaging no longer reveals that a vehicle is a Treasure Hunt and the cars are seeded into other series like “HW Racing” and “HW Stunt”. To identify one you have to find the low production symbol on the vehicle. Super Treasure Hunts The 2007 through 2011 Supers are premium versions of regular T-Hunts and often have Spectraflame paint and Real Rider wheels. They can be identified by a green stripe with “Trea$ure Hunt$” or “T-Hunt$” on the packaging. In 2012, Supers stopped being premium versions of regular T-Hunts and became Super Secret Treasure Hunts. They are different cars, hidden in different series, and no longer have the green stripe on the packaging. To identify one you have to find the premium paint and tires and a “TH” symbol on the vehicle.
I always thought you could also find the TH logo behind the actual car on the card as well. Can't remember if the $TH had them too, just knew to look for rubber wheels.
In the UK we get an appraiser round who goes through all the items you want to sell and they will tell you exactly what they think you could get at auction. It would save you relying on ebay bids/sales for what something is worth. You can also put a reserve on items that you know are worth something so it will not be sold if the item doesn't meet that reserve. Do you have this where you are?
You got him on the knives, you told him they were worth less than his prices but the good quality brands have went up in value, easier to sell than video games
As an old owner of a country Sports Store in Australia, I'm very envious of this collection and I wish I was there with you going through these collections.
Hell yeah I remember YoMega Brain. Pogs, yoyos, pokemon, zbots, and pocket max, powerrangers, vr troops, beetleborgs, and super samurai syber squad were my early/ mid 90s jams!!
The Hi-Lo plastic model pops up to reveal the rest of the trailer. They were campers whose shells dropped down for towing then popped back up when in use.
Google lens is going to be your friend :) That dragon vase is highly detailed and that big black onxy arrow head looks cool. I cant image trying to price things pre internet with just few words to describe something in a book, you have so many variations to try to price yours correctly.
I definitely wouldn't lot the Yomega yoyos together unless you group the x-brains separately from the rest. Two completely different types of buyers: 1. X-brain and Saber are auto-return yoyos for kids 2. The others are loopers or sleepers for people that take it more seriously 😀 Very neat finds!
Hey chase regular treasure hunts have hard plastic tires & are worth on average of $5 each give or take depending on make & model of car corvettes/mustangs/camaro usually sell for more akso depending on what # it is on the card
There's a TH-camr called thefloridaman you may want to reach out to who is a die cast collector. He may have some good info on your Hot Wheels finds. Love this series!
Books are one of the easiest things to lookup - if they dont have a bar code you can search by ISBN and if they dont have one of those they are pre-1970 but those all have the year printed, publisher and edition in them so still not hard
That rocket looking ring in the small plastic box is a “1947 Lone Ranger Atomic Bomb Ring.” ($50-$100 by itself) Those rings in the box were promotional items from Kix Cereal.
So on the Hot Wheels THunts: Pre- 2007, there were ONLY Treasure Hunts, no "Super THunts". So any hunt before 07, is the only version they made for that run. In 07, they split the line into "regular" and "super" hunts, which the supers are really the only desirable ones from those runs.
You probably already realize what you should check those pages of the books for money and also check the spines for different items old books like that people had stuff in them. I’ve seen it happen before I wasn’t really enjoy the Contant keep up the good work.
Don't be hating on paper products and books .. like 75% of my business ... sold a Stephen King signed book for $1000!! Just have to know what to look for like anything:)
Wow I had those Spiderman magnets when I was a kid Sadly no clue what happened to them ... also the yomega yoyos when I worked at Bandai we distributed them wish i kept some of them
So when it comes to super treasure hunts. Those specific types of treasure hunts will have rubber tires. If you look at the wheels very closely you can see that they aren’t made of a hollow plastic wheel
Hot wheels supers have real rider wheels. Not plastic wheels. The sealed boxes are released by number and letter. The A or say Q are the sets that are released throughout the year. Each one has a different set of cars. Sometimes the same cars with a different paint scheme. But each has a particular treasure hunt and 1 super
The one you show that was a treasure hunt woulld be called a regular treasure hunt. In 2010 or earlier or later but around that time year , they put out 2 or 3 treasure hunt in a case. Regular t hunts could be 2 in a case our very basic , but limited, mostly supers 1 per case.. but you might go through 5 to 10 cases and no Super hunts. In the begaining of Super and reg. they are the same design diecast car but one will have rubber wheel tires and a better paint job, flasher in color. You will find TH on supers and regular the package has wording that it is a hunt. Reg hunts now have a flame symbol in a circle on diecsst that makes it a hunt and inside the package behind the car word stating it is a special car. Super now only have TH on the body and usually all have rubber wheels. From 95 to 07 the card will specify it a treasure hunt usually. Yes a bit confusing but die hard collectors and resellers all starting fighting in stores to get their hands on them, so a change was needed. So much to learn in collecting diecast ,but if you have a good eye and know what to look for there is money to be made or in collecting them. Mostly all diecast have a chase car ..Johnny Lighting , M2 , Greenlight. Some just reg hot wheels could have extreme value but most are just $2 - $3 each or at best even only a dollar. Learn all you can down the road you might go to the market and check the diecast isle and find a super hunt thats value at $20 and up. They did a Batman batmobile Super treasure hunt , when it first came out it went as high as $200. and that for a $1. hotwheel on the peg.. now avg about $150. Will this was long go to local collector meeting or talk to a diecast club , but don't tell them you a reseller most collectors frown of them...hahaha..goodluck.
Ps you might also want to search the cases for redline hotwheels cars whoch have a redline circle on all 4 wheels on outer suface of each tire these could be worth good money as well
Hey chase hot wheels super treasure hunts have real rubber tires & have tire tread marks also depending on make & model & card # these cars can fetch $10/$20$/$30 or more each as treasure hunts are or found on aversge of 1 per box of 72 cars despite that not every box will have 1 making them worth looking up to see what they are selling for since you have older product values of cars might have gone up

I hope I can used coz I'm from uae united Arab Emirates so far but I have plan to buy from u and start business here.
I'm sure you may already know. But do check inside books and flip through the pages. I've found many items stashed away inside them. Like my best find was a 1800s trolly train pass. Also many old people didn't believe in banks and would stash money inside them.
In regards to the Ming dynasty vases. Call a local museum. They have appraisers who can verify them and tell you what they're worth.
It looks like that note about the Ming dynasty item says $115,000. At 18:35. Their appears to be another one next to the dollar sign. I say go get that thing appraised asap lol.

I think that note said the vase was valued at $115,000. It looks like there is another 1 next to the $ haha. I'd be shocked if that's what it's worth!
I saw the same. lol. $115,000
These videos are always fun. You might want to add some easy boxes. The stuff that's super easy to list and comp. The sale prices might not be as high but you'd have to get to them eventually and on the days that you all are super busy but you are doing your daily listing challenges having an easy box ready might come in handy.
Ron is my personal hero! I could literally talk to that man for hours about his years running that store.

Really enjoyed seeing what is in some of the boxes. Those vases are beautiful.
My grandpa bought me a Yomega along with a VHS on how to do yo-yo tricks sometime in the 90s. I still have my Yo-Yos in my game room
Part 5 needs to be at least 1 hour please bro , I’m in home hospital and this is all I have 😂
The edits on this video were hilarious. Love this series.

pretty good job sucking us in to that paid promotion I got to give credit on that one
You should sit down and interview Ron. Just to hear how he learned so much about everything. Plus I'm sure he has hilarious stories
THANK YOU for the eBay app tip! Took me a minute to figure out that I had to click the lock icon next to each setting individually, but I fingered it out!

Love these videos after the buyouts!! Thanks for the content guys God bless!!!
In all my days of digging, i've never seen TMNT III movie toys, those are cool!
Finally Part 4
LOVE THIS SERIES

The yomega x brain was a sick yoyo. I had a serious callous on my middle finger from one of them as a 5th grader in the 90s
In the UK we get an appraiser round who goes through all the items you want to sell and they will tell you exactly what they think you could get at auction. HW with errors on the packaging or on the car/vehicle are worth looking at too. Some can go for good money.
Those old books could be worth a lot! Interested their first edition or first print! Check the copyright date!
😍😍😍 so much wow! Loving these videos! All the hidden treasures!
As an old owner of a country Sports Store in Australia, I'm very envious of this collection and I wish I was there with you going through these collections.
3:43 OH MY GOD. Has this been a thing for a while or new? Never knew. This is gonna save so much time oh my god.
Hell yeah I remember YoMega Brain. Pogs, yoyos, pokemon, zbots, and pocket max, powerrangers, vr troops, beetleborgs, and super samurai syber squad were my early/ mid 90s jams!!
It is good to be able to lock in the Sold/Completed comps, but you still need to check Sale Through Rate by comparing listed vs sold.
For sure looking into that at times. If there are very little sold, then we will usually check
The Hi-Lo plastic model pops up to reveal the rest of the trailer. They were campers whose shells dropped down for towing then popped back up when in use.
Love the series, had a rough week and was looking forward to the upload! Bless you guys!
Google lens is going to be your friend :) That dragon vase is highly detailed and that big black onxy arrow head looks cool. I cant image trying to price things pre internet with just few words to describe something in a book, you have so many variations to try to price yours correctly.
Awesome video and you did awesome on those items for $8K. Cant wait to see what the mancave items will go for.
Very interesting, the hot wheels are cool!
MORE RON PLEASE!!!!!

Amazing videos can’t wait for the next one ❤
I’d love to buy those yomega yo yos!!!
Super treasure hunts usually have a spectraflame color paint and rubber wheels
Super Treasure hunts will have real rider (rubber tires) on them as well as speacial paint.
Bruh you should just call it Gold mine Ron. Love the video. Y'all stay blessed
You need to do a 2hr video, I could watch this all day
Those Vases are crazy valuable! So are the Old Duck Decoys!
Ron needs to run for President!!!!
Hello Chase I'd take those Wizard of Oz Books for Sure . Looking forward to those on E-Bay
So on the Hot Wheels THunts:

Always good editing.🤘
Think hard about the Wizard of Oz! Some of those books are crazy
I think you sould take the vases to antique roadshow.
You probably already realize what you should check those pages of the books for money and also check the spines for different items old books like that people had stuff in them. I’ve seen it happen before I wasn’t really enjoy the Contant keep up the good work.
Always check between pages of the books for cash - you never know!
I hope for your sake those vases are real!
FYI Heritage sells lots of Chinese antiques, so it may be worth sending them an email.
Super treasure hunts will have rubber tires and nice wheels and usually have the same color but a different nicer tone
I had one of those "yo yo with a brain" ones. I loved that thing. Roughly 1996-97 I think.
Don't be hating on paper products and books .. like 75% of my business ... sold a Stephen King signed book for $1000!! Just have to know what to look for like anything:)
Absolutely. I LOVE paper.
Meh
Wow I had those Spiderman magnets when I was a kid Sadly no clue what happened to them ... also the yomega yoyos when I worked at Bandai we distributed them wish i kept some of them
More finds!! Yass!
Really a vase for 15 grand that’s like out of the movies. From the Chen dynasty.
Keep the unboxing videos coming.
Best place to buy lots from you? Like the yo-yos and more stuff like that? Have a small shop and I’m always looking for stuff like this.
Can't wait for this video
I sent you a dm on Instagram
Retro Rick would love that animation cel as well
So when it comes to super treasure hunts. Those specific types of treasure hunts will have rubber tires. If you look at the wheels very closely you can see that they aren’t made of a hollow plastic wheel
Also. I would love to help out when it comes to hot wheels. If you guys want to do like a Skype call or something. I’d be down for that
Wow lot of stuff

You need to get with foggy flips on the tmnt stuff he loves that stuff
Someday I'll score some sealed treasure hunts.
Them price guides from Ron would be handy to just figure what’s what’s in his collection. Does he still have them?
I sold one of those vases (less detailed) for $500…. 3.5’ tall. Went to pack it, and it fell and shattered lol. Ugh.
Ps you might also want to search the cases for redline hotwheels cars whoch have a redline circle on all 4 wheels on outer suface of each tire these could be worth good money as well
We need Hobby Shop Ron Merch!
I picked up some great knives last week also! Not near as many as you though.
Hey Chase - Love these vids. Any family tree history in the front or back of the 1860 Bible?
Hey chase hot wheels super treasure hunts have real rubber tires & have tire tread marks also depending on make & model & card # these cars can fetch $10/$20$/$30 or more each as treasure hunts are or found on aversge of 1 per box of 72 cars despite that not every box will have 1 making them worth looking up to see what they are selling for since you have older product values of cars might have gone up

Cool toys
If Ron has gran kids he’s probably the coolest gpa
Did you ever sell the vases or get them appraised
yo-yo ma can play the piano as well. Ive seen him play both solos in a rehearsal one time.
Legend!!
More more more vids like this!
The Ming “dynisty” vases can’t be real. They look real rough.
When do you plan on listing the spiderman print?
Not quite sure!
