NASCAR has a completely different vibe for people when your watching an individual driver/team. Your following them on a week to week basis and their struggles just to place well. Any week can be their golden day where everything falls into place. Car is tuned correctly, pit road team executes perfectly, and the strategy calls on fuel/tires come together at the right time. Winning a race in the current point system locks them into a championship run which nets a huge bonus for teams so complete underdogs can win at any point and shake up the entire points system.
I watched your videos for quite some time to relax, but you sparked my interest so much, that I decided to try Trackmania for the first time, I downloaded it a week ago and after getting my first author medal on Training 4 I was hooked. So Wirtual, NASCAR is more about the storylines on track and that fact that on any given day it is possible for anyone to win. Pit stops make every race interesting as there can often be 10+ leaders in a race.
the basketball comparison is so funny with the guy writing "4 point line" in chat. Ignoring the fact that thats how the 3 point line was introduced literally rewriting the rules
37:40 I believe they where paid work, and they where paid at least partially with beer. Remember, this is a time where mammoth still existed, so building a giant tomb for your god in exchange of beer was a very good deal.
Slavery is not the same as unpaid labor. Like you have to see to your slaves' basic needs or they die. So the treatment (and payment) all depends on how expendable the slaves are to the owner.
I'm a USA player and didn't know the game existed till I was recommended one of Wirtual's vids a year ago. Honestly the only racing game ads I saw before then were Forza and GT.
Look from this perspective: You play with F1 in TM for 20 years now, while rally cars are really recent. Tens of thousands of driving hours gone into that car.
You know that the 3 little pigs is so simple because it is a story for 4 year old children. Most storieswhich "transcend time" are a tiny bit more involved.
xdd yeah I thought the same thing. also that argumentation line kinda leaves out the fact that sometimes storylines are purposefully not understandable as the mystery is part of the experience ... and I felt that tenet had a clear enough resolution

From German-speaking Belgium. In Belgium there's one area that mainly speaks French, another that speaks Dutch, and another that speaks German. Cause Europe is weird.
12:45 That's exactly what I think of the added cars. Yeah, they're cool and sometimes fun. But do they really have to throw them into the mix with all the others at once? Why not just give them their own tracks and campaign like you did in the older games? The car switching mid race just gets incredibly annoying after a while, especially when the car switch gates are placed in terrible positions, like near or on turns. I wish each car would just have it's own track and not have the mid race switching.
From what ive heard building the pyramids was like jury duty, like you'd be a normal Egyptian farmer and one day you would get a message saying "hey, the King says you've got to help out on the pyramid for like a year." So you'd do that then after your years was up you would go back to your normal life, and yes they did get paid.
You can absolutely make stories where the villain isn't sympathetic. That's a part of why the Joker is so highly praised as a villain. For the most part, he's just a psycho that loves chaos, terror, destruction, and muscular men in bat costumes. The villain being sympathetic just adds gray area to the story, which usually leads to the story being a bit more thought provoking. It makes the audience question or understand some of the protagonist's decisions/actions, while also helping to go against the conventional narrative of the "Hero's Journey".
This is such a clever idea for a video! 😄 It’s like a fun alphabet soup but with racing! 😂 I mean, can you imagine what the Z map would look like? Probably zigzagging all over the place! 🏎️💨
Nadeo will never do that because the number of people playing any of the new cars would drop to almost zero. That's the whole reason they implemented the new cars the way they did, to force people to play them because they knew that if people had a choice, they wouldn't be playing them.
The way I've described the new cars is Imagine if you played Street Fighter for 10 years, and suddenly 1 game out of every set you play is Smash Bros Ultimate. You can like both games, but not everybody does, and understandably many people do not want to combine the two
Elder millennial here. “Listen up all you whippersnappers, back in my day Snow Car was the default! You had to *earn* the right to play Desert Car and Rally by getting fast enough times. No respect for your history!” ;) (I’m entirely kidding of course. I don’t even play TMNF/TM because the game I like is TMO / TM Sunrise.)
But you get to choose which maps you want to play, right? So just don't play non-Stadium car maps? Maybe you can argue against COTD and official campaigns using the non-Stadium cars, but everyone seems to want to remove them from the map editor
Compared to rally, where you can actually help the rally drivers if they flip and feel included. Pick an inside corner, get a chair, talk with your friends and loved ones, the hear that sweet Subaru engine ripping in the distance, listening to it getting closer, before seeing it rip up dirt or mud or snow as it drifts. Skilled drivers doing skilled driving in beautiful cars.
Being a fan of nascar is just bc they are fans of someone driving in the race, or they really don’t want someone else to win. The drama of nascar is the best part, watching people purposefully crash each other then fist fight over it, is probably the most hillbilly thing an American can enjoy.
The "basketball with more balls being a separate game" is what caused the differences in American football, football and rugby, they were originally just different rules for one game
NASCAR is nice because you can watch the first few laps to see who ends up in the lead, then take a nap for 2 hours and wake up to them being in the same place and watch the fight for the last few laps of the race.
12:35 and then there's just Escape From Tarkov with their developer adding the rule you have to kick the basketball while juggling and not caring too much how much the players agree.
7:1 was so deserved too, Brazil basically got carried through the worldcup, that it was inevitable that a good team would kick them out, but 7:1 was an insane blow out
52:00 bro tenet is one of the greatest overhated movies of all time. It’s not always about a villain, it’s confusing because you don’t understand it. It’s one of those movies that you should watch more times. There’s a good video on it called “Tenet is a … masterpiece” I believe. It explains it very well, the story telling is weird but the whole point of the movie isn’t about the characters or development in them. It’s about what’s actually happening to the world. I think it’s fine to have different opinions, but I truly believe that most people just don’t understand the beauty of the movie. If they did, I think they’d have a drastically different view on it. Not saying that they’d love it, but at least understanding the plot better. It’s like a hard puzzle, do you get mad at the puzzle because the creators of the puzzle wants to smart because it’s hard? No lol, because that’s the point of the puzzle. People are just mad at the movie because it’s not normal to make these types of movies. Jeez didn’t expect to write a whole movie review 😂

btw wtf is that car, this was my first map driving with that thing (besides the 3 turns on E) and in the beginning I hated it more than any other, why is it wobbly in that weird way that using action keys didn't feel like the way to go....AND WHY ARE WE DRIVING BACKWARDS NADEO hahaha
2:43 "little bit blind" as if the shape of C had just changed 10 minutes before the map was made.
52:20 my dad constantly brings up how much he loves tenet bc it’s so interesting
4:30 - D for Daytona
13:38 Finally Wirtual find the G' spot, congrats
37:40 I believe they where paid work, and they where paid at least partially with beer.
Remember, this is a time where mammoth still existed, so building a giant tomb for your god in exchange of beer was a very good deal.
Slavery is not the same as unpaid labor. Like you have to see to your slaves' basic needs or they die. So the treatment (and payment) all depends on how expendable the slaves are to the owner.
5:30 your missing beer, a ton of beer...

German speaking part in Belgium is tiny. Also, that's where Scrapie is. Coincidence! 😮
1:15 bug finish, I used frame by frame to see, his car hit the finish line, but didn't go through, and it counted.
38:45 That was a really tough map. You could say it was a hard R.

The extra cars in Trackmania is like Grand Theft Auto adding in all the space tech.
I'm a USA player and didn't know the game existed till I was recommended one of Wirtual's vids a year ago. Honestly the only racing game ads I saw before then were Forza and GT.
14:30 Resort Island: Can You Feel The Sunshine from Sonic R goes unbelievably hard!! I LOVE that song!
25:31 M is for Mayonnaise sliding
M is for MAYONNAISE ON AN ESCALATOR GOING UPSTAIRS SO SEE YOU LATER BYE BYE
One of the coolest campaigns I have seen so far! Looking forward to hieroglyph campaign!
100% on your side at 08:00 Trackmania for me is the Stadium Car, and i think 90% of the people that played Trackmania only played/liked Stadium Car..
Look from this perspective:
You play with F1 in TM for 20 years now, while rally cars are really recent.
Tens of thousands of driving hours gone into that car.
Forgetting to do the letter U is such a wirtual moment
Qu was 1 map
@@Tyler-iw7ve oh lol i didnt even notice. is there a limit of 25 maps or something?
@@skmgeek yes.
18:09 point crow reference of murdering families of four (im like 99% certain)
Def a pointcrow reference
10:11 I completely expected, with the way it was zoomed in, that a stream sniper would take the record right as wirtual left
oooh I'm in a floating bubble, so fancy!
Zoom in to the green timer -- best comical effect ever
You know that the 3 little pigs is so simple because it is a story for 4 year old children. Most storieswhich "transcend time" are a tiny bit more involved.
xdd yeah I thought the same thing. also that argumentation line kinda leaves out the fact that sometimes storylines are purposefully not understandable as the mystery is part of the experience ... and I felt that tenet had a clear enough resolution
@@simonbinet7561 I'm going to put it down to the fact that it was after 1am at night, and he was playing for more than 3 hours. Cannot expect a sound literature / movie analysis under these circumstances. Still funny.
50:01 a couple years ago, when Canada made the world cup, i remember my teacher would watch the game in class with us.
We didnt do well, we have as many goals scored as own goals scored after 6 games in our history, but it was cool to watch haha
Uuuuuuuuuuuh what about u?
As I'm watching literally the only one I remembered to try and guess what the next one was gonna be (underwater) and then valley comes up. I thought I was going crazy. What? Just 25 maps?
You're right U is in fact missing🫠
If you look closely, there is a lower case u after the capital Q in the Q map.
No U
@@leosorghum6867 No u
Wait wait wait, so I'm 2:34 min into this vid, he just completed "B" and is moving on, for the entire "B" map there was not one complete run shown, each one of the runs had a cut in the editing. Top tier editing right there!
The last run was a complete run, only a short zoom-in in the pf start section
I subscribe for Pyramid facts
26:40 f1 drivers barely has any visibility at all if you watch their pov. btw im not talking about nighttime it's always the case for them.
"From German, speaking Belgium" ~Some chatter
Belgium really is my favorite language
No comma. He means that it's a place in Belgium where they speak german
From German-speaking Belgium.
In Belgium there's one area that mainly speaks French, another that speaks Dutch, and another that speaks German.
Cause Europe is weird.
@@KeppyKep I'm from Belgium myself, I just found it funny how it looks like he's saying Belgium is a language.
"the three little pigs is one of the world's best stories" is an absolutely wild take
12:45 That's exactly what I think of the added cars.
Exactly my thoughts, too. And the cherry on top is that all three cars have the same ugly color 😅
Chat member: "That's not how life works"
Brother, you an elf? You see magic? You live in a world where a half height man with big feet killed Satan?
Not first, this is gonna be a great video, watched the livestream
the extra cars shouldn't be removed, just separated entirely. Everyone wins.
Nadeo will never do that because the number of people playing any of the new cars would drop to almost zero. That's the whole reason they implemented the new cars the way they did, to force people to play them because they knew that if people had a choice, they wouldn't be playing them.
Literally me. When I'm bored I'll look at a letters and pretend a little guy is going through an obstacle course in the shape of the letters.
The way I've described the new cars is
Imagine if you played Street Fighter for 10 years, and suddenly 1 game out of every set you play is Smash Bros Ultimate.
You can like both games, but not everybody does, and understandably many people do not want to combine the two
Elder millennial here. “Listen up all you whippersnappers, back in my day Snow Car was the default! You had to *earn* the right to play Desert Car and Rally by getting fast enough times. No respect for your history!” ;)
(I’m entirely kidding of course.
@@FPRobber removing the switch in cars is a better way ti go about it.
@@FPRobber Loved grinding dessert map to gold to finally get to grind the FS map in the campaign

I literally fell asleep to this and dreamed about the alphabet, am I cooked?
NASCAR can be cool to be at the events because you can see the whole race the whole time unlike f1 or other motor sports
I am gonna try to comment to get likes
You'll fail, kid.
You will success
The "basketball with more balls being a separate game" is what caused the differences in American football, football and rugby, they were originally just different rules for one game
10:36 F is for friends who do stuff together . U is for you and me . N is for any where and anytime at all .(clams singing) UNDER THE GREAT BLUE !SEA
NASCAR is nice because you can watch the first few laps to see who ends up in the lead, then take a nap for 2 hours and wake up to them being in the same place and watch the fight for the last few laps of the race.
It's been 15 days and Wirtual still holds two world records (E and T). I'm actually impressed!
12:35 and then there's just Escape From Tarkov with their developer adding the rule you have to kick the basketball while juggling and not caring too much how much the players agree.

7:1 was so deserved too, Brazil basically got carried through the worldcup, that it was inevitable that a good team would kick them out, but 7:1 was an insane blow out
One could say, it was a hard R
7x1 in the semifinals is the brazilian version of pulling a Wirtual
Congrats on 700k 😊🎉
I actually started making alphabet tracks back in like 2021, I really have to put them all in a playlist for you
