NO DANG.... I don't want any of that sauce 8) I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy stuff. Do you have a link for that map that you have on the wall behind you in the dinette? I really like that one. That is so interesting about the river changing course and no longer feeding the lake. So impressive what month nature can do. As always Bob your story telling is magical and Dang's drone footage in TOP NOTCH
Thanks so much @thewanderingshores for dropping by. You can observe the sauce from a safe distance when we see you in AZ soon :) That's the best way to experience it - believe me ! I will look for that map - it was a gift from our daughter a few years back - I'm pretty sure she got it on Amazon. I'll comment here again when I find out. Thanks again for the nice feedback - we really do appreciate it. We are heading over to your channel now to watch your Snowbird Mesa video - We have almost camped there a half dozen times but never actually done it - so that is going to be very helpful. See you guys soon!
What a fantastic video… so much information. I cracked up when Bob got sugared up to move on 🤣. Thanks for such a awesome video, can’t wait for the next one 👏👍❤️👏🥳
Thank you Robyn for your continued support ❤️ that cinnamon roll was great and you will see a theme build up over this series - for some reason that region loves their cinnamon rolls and we encountered them throughout our journey. Thanks again for watching, we really appreciate it 😀
Thanks for the comment - we always love to hear from you! We think we might explore a ferry next time around - maybe one way at least. It's such a long drive. Best wishes for your holidays :)
Thanks @lannyandroxanneadvantures2546 - we so much appreciate your encouragement. We hope someday to see you guys do a series on Alaska - you would have so much fun up there -and the Van is the perfect size for exploring there - so many places you can get to! Bye for now!
Yes, Dang does have a nice setup - that monitor gets calibrated regularly for color accuracy. So while it's a bit of a pain to travel with (rides on the bed during travel days) its very helpful in the editing process. Thanks for the comment - we love hearing from you!. BTW we are thinking about spending a few months up in the Eastern Sierra this summer - so maybe we run into you up there. Take care!
@bobanddangsjourney let us know... We'll be there. We just got back from 'Hole in the Wall" CG in the Mojave Preserve. Highly recommended... Especially Mitchell Caverns.
We will definitely let you know as we get closer to spring. We love the Mojave preserve and need to get back there - it's been about 4 years. We will have to check out hole in the wall - have not been there. Happy camping!
I can't get my jaw off the ground, this scenery is absolutely stunning! Your bucket list is inspiring us, thanks for making this awesome video series! Oh, and I have to laugh because I always thought I-40 and I-10 were horrible highways but you have redefined “highway from hell” for me 🤣 Congratulations on another amazing video!
Thanks for the laugh! I-40 and I-10 have some pretty rough spots too - but the Alaska Highway does push the limits. 😉. Hopefully it is better by the time you guys head up that way! See you soon :)
Y'all are so brave! I love watching your adventures you go to the most beautiful places and your videos are so well edited and narrated. Thank you for sharing your adventures so I can sit at home and feel more traveled. Thank you for enriching my life with your travel experiences.
We are honored to hear how you enjoy our videos- thank you so much for sharing. We look forward to delivering better and better content as we grow. Our next stop is Valdez and we think you are going to love that scenery. Thanks again and have a great thanksgiving!
Another great video production. Gotta hand it to you, you guys find the best boon dock locations. You gotta love Kluane Lake, undoubtedly our most favorite Yukon boon dock spot. Glad you hit Johnson’s Crossing. We stopped off there on both of our Alaska journeys for their famous Cinnamon Buns (sticky buns as Canadians call them). Your description of the trek through Burwash was right on. It’s gonna be amazing when that portion of the ALCAN gets re-constructed. Looking forward to your next video!
Thank you @GoldenAnniversaryAdventure ! We got a lot of great hints on where to stop during this journey from your videos - they were super helpful 🙂. We appreciate your support as always - hoping to run into you in Arizona this winter. Safe travels!
Wow! That spot you got right no the water was amazing! Beautiful shots of the whole area and we can't wait to see more of this trip! What is your go to app for finding the boondocking spots? iOverlander?
Hi @VanDoghies - that was a really nice spot -w e were lucky that SUV left when they did - as it turns out the locals tend to come down there and hang out using that as a beach. Not a problem but that car could have stayed there - in which case we would have been on the other side of the lot by the highway. Much better by the lake for sure. Yes, we used ioverlander most of the time on this trip. We mixed ina. bit of Campendium, the Dyrt and also freecampsites.net - but Ioverlander was what we used 80% o the time I think. For you guys with the Van thats a great app. For us with the trailer, we just have to do a bit more confirmation - usually with google maps or google earth. Some people's idea of 'big rig friendly' is a bit different :). We don't consider ourselves to have a very big rig - in terms of 5th wheels or trailers, but compared to a Van it's definitely more of challenge to park. Thanks again for your support - hope we run into you next year during our travels!
That would indeed be a trip! We are not sure our trailer is the right method for that one though - maybe need something a bit more durable! Thanks for the comment we appreciate it!
Indeed -- we will be there in about 10 more episodes! :) We were there a few years back as well - it was one of our first published videos. And we will be back too - that place is amazing! Thanks again for the suggestions - keep 'em coming :)
It's great stuff! I'm sure Dang will be along shortly with the recipe (can't really call it a recipe - more like general ratios of ingredients). Thanks for watching!
Do you like spicy food? This sauce is so simple to make, and every Thai person has their own take on it based on what they like. My usual version includes about two tablespoons of dry, grilled, and crushed chilies, the juice of a whole medium lime, an equal amount of fish sauce, and 2-3 cloves of garlic, depending on how much you like garlic. Sometimes, I also garnish it with chopped green onion and cilantro. I use this sauce on all kinds of food. If you try it, let me know! Thanks for your question! 😀

That spot by the lake and the one by the creek were epic! Once again great drone shots! Great video. I'll bet your up for an academy award soon!!

@@bobanddangsjourney how about glacier national Park in Montana
