Looks like a dual 8-channel staggered head configuration @ 3:35 based on the monster capping stations. The cloth wiper looks novel, but I imagine the consumables will be expensive if the little silicone wipers are any indicator of price. Based on specs, I guess they're moving away from the Ricoh heads, unless they have a new 8-channel I don't know about. Love the Gen5s on the UCJV300, hopefully they're not a cursed Toshiba one.
I'm looking into getting one of these but I heard one person saying they were having head issues. My guess is either they are on Ricoh or moved to Epson heads. The droplet size on these is 4pl down from 7pl on the 300 model.
@@Goatshaver The heads are apparently Epson i3200 8-channel UV heads. The aqueous and solvent ones are pretty commonly used already, but honestly, I don't see much of a proven track record of UV heads from my personal experience. I like my UCJV300 with the Gen5 heads, but running dual 8-channel for CMYKClearClearWW would help a lot in speed. Here's hoping they're putting filters on the ink lines and not using those awful issue-prone subtanks.
@@o.e.r.3287 Appreciate your knowledge on this. I'm getting ready to buy a new 300 model and was considering the 330, but I also like the fact the 300 is a tried and tested machine now that it's been out for several years.
why didnt implement the new feature form Eco solvent machine to uv machine. especially material roller and cutting, and the clip of material i didnt see any imporvement.
Love Mimaki
the ink very expensive especially In Indonesia
