    Fantastic interview, great work Jordan! One request: he was very courteous to pause when you interrupted with comments, but for the audience, it was distracting to have him stop and start frequently. In the future, can you please hold interjections until he's done speaking? Again, just friendly advice from a longtime listener!

    @Jordan Harbinger Show
    @James Latrache-Qvortrup is one of the most brilliant and clear thinking people I have ever come across. Well-spoken and obviously doesn't give an eff that he is dropping f-bombs in a way that is not offensive. No self-censoring. How refreshing! And he is of the same national descent my mom's side of the family is: Danish. But I am not too familiar with the Danish culture and customs except for a holiday called Little Christmas Eve (December 23). So whenever I come across anyone with Danish descent of any type and degree - which is rare - and especially with close* Danish descent* - which is even rarer - it is such a treat. Again, thanks for having him on. Interesting person.
    NOTE:
    *Close, descent - can't think of the proper terminology at these points.

    I was born in Socialist federal republic of Yugoslavia, January 20th 1988 in Belgrade City. I was 11 years old during the NATO bombings of my country in 1999. I remember even years afterwards, that i had nightmares. The sound of the air raid siren was terrifying...

    Interesting interview! And yes Denmark is the 4th safest country in the world and is always in the top of the statistics when it comes to the best and happiest countries in the world. All of the countries with the strongest welfare-systems/safety nets are in the top ten list. To simplify you could say that the Scandinavian countries have a mixture of capitalism and democratic socialism (Socialdemocracy). (Although Sweden has moved in a neo-liberal direction in some areas and has privatized and deregulated quite a lot which has lead to some problems that most people are disatisfied with. Denmark has kept more of a classic strong socialdemocratic welfare system).

    • @lemokemo5752
      @lemokemo5752 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Denmark's governing socem party mixes a stronger social democratic welfare model (working with the left parties) with a more restrictive immigration, anti segregation/anti ghetto building measures, more aggressive anti islamist actions (working with the righting parties).
      Additionally, Denmark is the culturally most libertarian country in the Nordic countries. They allow prostitution, alcohol is not monopolised and available everywhere, and the weed-haven Christiania is tolerated.

      Denmark was a violent country if you go back in time to when it was really poor and with huge gaps between the richest and poorest. Today you could say they have a mixture between capitalism and democratic socialism - which is socialdemocracy. (According to the latest statistics Denmark is the 4th safest country in the world).

    100% agreed! Next level interesting to me, because of our similarities -and that he's so real he's not ashamed to talk -so raw about his perceived flaws without giving a shit, because he knows himself now and is comfortable and greatful despite the worst of it. I hope he'll get the chance toread "The Tipping Point" by Malcom Gladwell regarding how schools can just deconstruct a child in their formative years and how rapidly it compounds and blah blah. He'll get it. This will be forever one of the most reflective, truly helpful, but also entertaining interview, Perio-T, with a capital T, ha. Hoping I stumble upon him speaking again someday. Thank you Jordan! @atomic3141
