It looks like only the forward half of the sticks were engaged with the bosses at the start. Maybe thats why the kill speed was weaker than expected? Range too short as with too many weapons they get pushed farther from the center?

Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking too. More range would have meant a lot more dps

Stick > wrench > slingshot probably in terms of how nutty it can get

Its sad that the "take 1 damage per second" items don't stack as multiple instances of 1 damage. That'd be so sick

bloody hand would have been neat, but i really like tractor and blood donation (and of course crown) for this run. i dont think this run woulda managed to cap out the 18 slots otherwise
