@@peterbruin5154 No problem. I’ve personally not noticed any issues with analogue video since the install, but definitely need to make sure you fix the audio with those resistors 👍
10:23 the first installation video that I can confirm that this metal base can be installed... There's no risk to shorts, right? Thanks for this video.
this is the most beautfiul soldering i've ever seen , so clean , so prefect , you are awsome...I am pursuing a carrer into micro soldering , I love it , watched thousands of videos , but by far this is the best i've seen...what microscope are you using ? the image is top quality...
@@p.george6076 There are plenty affordable microscope available on Ali express, but please do your research first. There are many different lenses, different mounts etc. You should consider your use case, your working distance, your needs. If you want an affordable, all-in-one solution for beginners, Andonstar microscopes look very good.
I installed the Retro Gem, everything seems to work fine, except the Retro Gem menu doesn't show up when I do the button combination. Aleeady tested the controller buttons with a game and they all work. What could the problem be?
Don't even try to do that if you don't have a proper skills and first of all, the tools. I tried to install that myself and I have quite a lot of tools but GPU legs are very soft and can bend during soldering. Unfortunately this happens to me when I tried to remove excess of tin on the joints. Now I have to buy microscope or send somebody who has workshop and daily experience in such things 🤬

Nice, I thought the PS1 would look like crap in HD, but I guess it doesn't look too bad.

@@ricardosantos9960 have you updated the firmware? I have had this before too.
The firmware update can be done without access to the device UI?
