Having mental illness diagnosis I have never had thoughts about hurting anyone. I have yelled and thrown stuff. I know if I had thoughts like that I would rather lull myself. This guy just makes it hard for the people who don’t commit horrible crimes. Feel real bad for the victim no one deserves that

Because of the supreme Court, It is hard to get people in-house treatment for mental problems.

Sounds like the neighbors are trying to make excuses for him

The neighbors are clarifying for reporters that the man was suffering from mental health issues. That's never an excuse but it does give a better idea of how things ended.

If you saw the signs of mental health then you saw the signs of this coming 🤦

Wrong , millions of people have mental health issues but they are not violent and they dont go setting people or houses on fire.

    • @norskawarrior1919

Oh please! Like you have any clue about mental health issues, how they present, how medication merely masks the condition and how a person who is unstable might react. Just go sit down and shush.

@@norskawarrior1919 thanks for telling us all you know about mental health. so if you see signs do something about it ,instead of waiting for things to happen, then say you seen signs. 🤦

@@nocapnewsn9s812 you know it's difficult to have people placed in an institution against their will, even mother's are unsuccessful in getting their grown children committed, even with documented history like schizophrenia, and borderline personality disorder, I'm talking cluster B action... Because individuals have rights and the laws protect those rights and those protections can leave people including the mentally ill unprotected. It's a weird double-edged sword. Even children that have been committed aren't always given the medication that will treat them, because they've refused. he came from a religious background unfortunately a lot of mental health disorders are overlooked and some religious sects will tell you to pray things away. Then you have individuals who try to keep their mental health issues at Bay by drinking and or doing drugs oh, that's a very common occurrence that only makes matters worse in the end. People most certainly do need to speak up when something's wrong, when they sense / see that something is wrong, but understand that the authorities are unlikely to take action until after crime has been committed. You don't know how many individuals spoke up in this instance. We don't know how fast the decline was of this individual's Mental Health. It's hard to see something coming if you're not around the person who ends up committing the offense. Most of the time people just assume that it can't happen to them. No matter what, that is a effing tragedy.

Tragic that he set this woman on fire. The police sgt. was visibly troubled at the nature of the crime. They are first responders and have to go into dangerous situations where they see this on a daily basis. A person who is not serving God is subject to that wicked one.
