Thanks for the excellent video tutorial guys. Have just replaced the left front switch pack in my E500 thanks to this video. Only differencesI found were that I had no Phillips screws, those three in my car are T25 torx. Plus my door lock knob did not have to be removed. Mine is like plastic doweling, so the door panel just lifted straight over it. Cheers, Graeme
Hi Guys! While replacing the power seat module the door panel slipped from my hand and the white, flat electrical connection tore away from the blue connector which was still attached to the door. What is that part called and how hard is it to replace? What does it connect? My mirrors stopped working after this event. I want to replace the band but can't find it because I don't know what it's called. Thanks in advance!
Do you have a video for a W230 "seat heating" repair? Module, seat element etc. Drivers side slightly heats. Passenger side: seat no heat, back portion heats fully. I have a fluke meter.
Good vid - but the screws that hold the door panel to the door (two around the door handle and one near the hinge are NOT phillips head - they are T30 torx - not sure why yours had phillips head but someone must have been in there before you and changed them out.

Yep, every screw on mine is Torx. Either T30 or T20. Other than that, though, great video!
