I have to say that this innocent looking chair pad turned out to be one of your more complicated procedures! But it was demonstrated and explained as clearly as possible. I always learn something when watching one of your videos!

I just made these today and they are wonderful! I love all the little tips you give. For just starting out sewing again, after 30 years (or so) they came out really nice. TY TY This has been the BEST video I have seen, and if I got stuck, all I had to do was go back a step. Hoping I can find more videos of yours on here.. Tks again!!!

I just reupholstered my dining room chairs with a solid chenille fabric for seats and backs. My kitten just LOVES it!!! Now, I purchased a complimentary acrylic indoor/outdoor fabric and will be making covers for the seats, to preserve the chenille for special occasions. I think your video was excellent and will use your pattern without batting, as I have just put 2" of HD foam in seats. The only adjustment I will need to make is front/side openings to accommodate the arms. I am thinking that a similar application of the velcro tabs will suffice. Thanks so much for a most helpful video and a job well done!

Just purchased new wooden chairs and would like the comfort a chair pad would provide. I watched two other videos of yours for chair pads and then saw this one...I really like it, it takes the look of a chair pad up a notch. I am wondering how well it stays in place, does the front ever slip off?
I would also like to add that I lost a half a day watching your videos. Excellent instruction.

These chairs were made for the owner of Sailrite's home and they used them for years. The covers never slipped off and they worked great. Instead of using compressed polyester, which did bottom out rather quickly use this foam: www.sailrite.com/High-Density-Polyurethane-Foam-Medium-2-x-24-x-80

When we upload a fabric sample video to our TH-cam Channel we do not send notices to our subscribers (unless, we forget to click the “do not send notification to subscribers”, which happens only once and a while). So, subscribe and rest easy, new project videos are being worked on daily at Sailrite. I hope you enjoy them.

What is the name of the plastic being used to make the pattern? I'd like to order some, but don't know what it's called.

VEry well done. I am going to protect the nice wood of my chair seat with a lining under the foam so the foam will not abrade,or stick to, the wood finish. I think there will be times I'd like a plain wood seat. Essentially, I think I will make a complete, loose, cover for the foam first. Then make my upholstery fabric cover. My chair seat is much more rounded than the one in the video and will attach under the seat with a gathered cord but I still got a lot of good ideas to employ. Thank you.

I would change the way she adds those two little peaces for Velcro . They don't look good there and its additional job that can be avoided.
