Note: On the latest 2.0 bikes, you only have the option of setting to 32 or 100 for bike class. I called Lectric, and they verified that 32 is the "class 2" setting, and 100 is the "class 3" (fully unlocked) setting. The rep I spoke with said they just haven't updated the manuals yet.
Use a GPS to show the bike’s true speed… Most of these displays arent calibrated correctly… I ebike had mine showed top speed of 22mph, but in reality, it was only 20mph.
Make sure to rotate the safety ring on the folding handlebar long lever for the v 1.0 I did not know about it and crashed. I am fine just scratched the back of my hand. The manual did not point out the ring, it called it a pin.
Hoping you could help. Just bought a XP LITE. The unlocking sequence is the same however when i go to page 8 and try to raise the factory lock from 32 , it simply blinks but doesn’t change

Not anything fancy to be fooled with ("adjusted"). The Lite is really, really all about losing 20 pounds so older people can lift it easier, and younger ones can carry it up stairs to an apartment easier.

Realistically it is artificially slowed down because of the software driving the motor. Imagine putting on new sprockets to gear it way up and hardwire the battery to the motor, it would go extremely fast...

This does work. My 1.0 gets 28 - 29 mph tilting bike and running the free wheel on throttle only. Then, I peddle assisted and hit the throttle at the same time and it increased to 37.9 mph. I can get 28 - 30 mph peddle assist only while riding however, when peddling and throttling, I get up to 37.9 on the LCD. This is about 33 - 34 mph on GPS. (You must use both "throttle" and "PAS" at the same time for max speeds he's getting).
So what mph do you get on the 2.0 actuallyriding it? Those high top speeds are in the 1.0 freewheeling.. Without changing the gearing I haven't seen anybody get 30 mph or more on a 2.0

@@DavianRod The higher gear your are in the harder it is to pedal but it allows you to pedal up to higher speeds. The lower the gear your are in the easier it is to pedal at slower speeds and to get up hills😁
@@microdesigns2000 Yep, I can hit thirty on my 2.0, just hard to spin the pedals that fast, Got the new 11/34 freewheel to install, my buddy can gets 35 on his with 11-34 and a lot of work. I also plan to change the front chainring, that should give me more ability to keep up with the motor at speed. Still researching that one.
Same problem here…just got mine. If I knew that throttle only was going to be 18 I wouldn’t have got it. Never had the problem with the 2.0…it would go up hill 20mph no problem on throttle only.
I did this while riding my 3.0 yesterday to catchup with my wife. Entered the settings menu, Went to screen 08, Change it from 32 to 100. Caught up to the wife at about 30 mph. Goodtimes!!

@@ecrew_vp Technically not possibly. I have a similar build with a 20 inch folding bicycle with a 1000 watt motor, 48v battery with a top speed of 33 MPH. I built a new bike with a 1500 watt motor, 52v set at 25 amp and I'm expecting a top speed of 38MPH. Maybe 40. With a 850 watt motor on your bike your max speed will be 28mph if you get lucky on a downhill.
It’s real but it won’t make it go 47mph. You will be able to go 37mph on a flat along with some strong legs🔥 you can only achieve these speeds at a full charge though

It is a stock setup. You can see the motor and screen… I also posted a top speed test video. Also the title is “How to Unlock the Full Speed and Power of the Lectric 1.0 and 2.0” All I’m doing is changing the settings to unlock the bike when in PAS 5. Controller will be affected if you push unlocked top speed all the time. If you are not in a big city and you don’t need it leave it stock

I have a Lectric XP 2.0 and it definitely gets to 30. Not always because 500W is barely enough. But, surprisingly, it does.

Same problem here…just got mine. If I knew that throttle only was going to be 18 I wouldn’t have got it. Never had the problem with the 2.0…it would go up hill 20mph no problem on throttle only.

We just got ours opened it out of the box set it up and fully charged it. How are you supposed to turn it on because the power button doesn’t work
