I filmed this MANY MANY moons ago before I got sick and my hard drive was actin' funny. This is how I roll my leather Traveler's Notebooks. It gives the leather a beautiful wrinkling and just a little bit of texture (for the Mr. Darcy anyway).
Disclaimer: Roll at your own risk. ;) Make sure to be very careful with any stitching you have on your notebook especially around the pockets. And also make sure to roll towards the finished side first and then roll towards the unfinished side to prevent cracking the leather.
Hope this video is helpful in showing you how to break in your notebook quicker!!!

Some folks seem to treat their travel notebooks with "white gloves" (which, to me, says "I am unloved and UNUSED, sitting on a shelf, rarely to be enjoyed!). I, on the ortherhand, love to get my hands on mine and rub them, toss them, stuff them, and use them often! ...scratches and all! A scratch, after all, is only a beauty mark!

OMG!! I absolutely ADORE you! You remind me of me lol! You inspired me to purchase from CS and I just ordered Mr Darcy and Creme brûlée dark chocolate....both in narrow. My husband doesn't know yet but I'm sure once I explain my temporary insanity he will be ok. Besides it made me happy! I feel like I may be suffering from this temporary insanity more than once 😬

Ah Mr. Darcy. A little pocket sized Maverick arrived this week in my home, along with a medium pouch and I am in love.................but I love my personal sized creme brulee still too much see the problems already? lol thanks for sharing, I do need a larger sized one maybe a lovely wine or red wide sized something something lol

Can I roll the Chic Sparrow Creme brûlée leather? I tried to find a video about rolling on Chic Sparrows TH-cam but can't find one
You can roll any leather. The Creme Brulee is already pretty supple so it may not make much of a difference. I roll almost all of my leathers though. It's just fun. :)

How do you roll one with the stitching? Is it different?
Nope it's not different. Sometimes it's a little harder because the stitching (and if it has pockets it's thicker so it takes a little care)
+Franny Rogers You roll it the same. Just be careful with the stitching to not put too much strain on the pockets. If your gentle, you can still roll it. :)
