I personally wasn’t aware that fallout 3 got a bad wrap, it was an awesome game that iv gone back to multiple times and played through until completion at least 5 times. There were elements that were lacking however I found it to be enjoyable overall.
It's cause there's one single video that calls Fallout 3 terrible that was popular for some reason. It's objectively a good game, lots to do, explore, a bit on the black and white side, but there's no real railroading you into certain quests, and some awesome DLC. It just gets horribly overshadowed by Fallout: New Vegas.
It wasn’t bad. But not perfect. The story was boring and uninteresting. And don’t get me started about the ending. Fallout new Vegas is a better game. But 3 isn’t bad
@@booker4984 I completely disagree with the boring and uninteresting opinion. Fallout 3 was before it's time and I personally think that if it came out instead of 4 but with 4s engine that it would have done incredible.

What saddens me the most is the names involved in this project. The quest designer, Kris Takahashi, is known for the Interesting NPCs mod, which adds literal hundreds of voiced NPCs. Some of them even gives you interesting quests or are followers that provide location commentary. Elianora is known for her amazing non-modular home mods. She really knows how to naturally make a place messy in a lived-in way. Her mods sometimes chokes the fps out of older machines because of the sheer amount of decorating she does. Fadingsignal is known for... many things, too much to pin down (his weapon mods stand out but there are so many essential non-weapon mods that I didnt realize was from him). But he's definitely an OG. All three of them are, dating back to Skyrim days. I wonder if they're getting anything out of this paid mod to justify attaching their name to this thing.
@@HuskyMarauder It didn't add much jank that wasn't already present in the game, and it was compatible with a lot of major mods that modified NPC behaviour (off the top of my head I ran these mods together with Interesting NPC with no prob except dropped framerate. Frostfall, the Immersive series, Requiem and a few other souls-like combat overhaul)
@@ChemySh Except it did add "much jank", with mods like Spell Knight Armour being literally impossible to use at one point, among others. Bethesda games are glitchy at times, sure, but they are playable.
@@HuskyMarauder I noticed Spell Knight Armour is a 2019 paid mod, and Kris is involved as a quest designer. I dont know whats up with Kris nowadays, I was just talking about back then. My knowledge of Kris is limited to Oldrim, and I'm probably looking at it with rose glasses (I dont mind a few sidequests being broken since there's a shit ton of them and I can safely ignore the broken ones). I also tried looking up old bug reports and threads, but was too lazy to dig through all of them. At a glance there isn't a lot of outright bashing or "should I get this mod" threads that you'd expect if it reliably breaks the game severely. Still doesnt change the fact that Kris made free massive mods with content quality equal or better to Bethesda, which would otherwise sell for the price for a DLC on steam/other stores.
They released this creation club crap like the day after a Fallout 4 mod was in games media news. The mod was trying to recreate Fallout 3 in Fallout 4.
This is the pitfall of many mods and fan games, they tell people about them way to early so they get shut down. They should honestly learn to clam up and keep it to themselves until it's done. Then a cease and desist won't matter, it's out there now.
Zenimax didnt buy bethesda. They didnt spawn out of nothing and seize the company. Bethesda MADE zenimax, intentionally, to basically do the paperwork while they made games. Now, the paper pushers call the shots, but the fault is Bethesdas just the same. They made the monster, they fed it, nurtured it, empowered it and now they are vassals to their own dire spawn.
It depends on how badly the fev damaged their brains some like Fawks and Marcus are still functional but supers like Strong, Lily and the vast majority of supers/nightkin are basically literally retarded
6:35 OH, OH *Raises Hand* I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW! They are Beta testing the carryover from fallout 3 to fallout 4, as the Remaster will surely be just Fallout 3 slapped into Fallout 4s game engine
Conceptually, the creation club isn't a bad idea. Carefully curated, semi-fairly priced mods is a step between modding and game development, where your work is given value. If I was a hiring manager for, say, Activision or Valve, if I see two guys with identical experience but one shows they had a creation club item under their belt, I'm gonna go for them because that means their work was deemed worth paying for. It's better for modders who want something tangible to show. That, and if you ARE still playing Skyrim SE or Fallout 4, it's extra content for a game that isn't evolving or changing anymore. It's unfeasible to keep making dlc for a game after a while, but the creation club is a low cost option to continue to add content to their game. And especially on console for instance, they benefit the most from this since mods are incredibly limited on there.
Hey! Fun fact is that the 'concept art room' in the GNC building is an homage to the late Adam Adamowicz, who was the main (and pretty much only) concept artist to work on Fallout 3. He designed a massive amount of everything that was visually in that game and could draw upwards of 40 concepts in one day. He also worked on Shivering Isles as well as Skyrim. The room is a close replica of his own office within Bethesda Studios. :) He would die the same year that Fallout 4 came out.
Imagine the wonders Obsidian would do with the Fallout franchise.... Betheada, Zenimax whoever the hell is leading on Fallout has, for me anyway, completely killed Fallout. RIP one of my fave franchises. 1996-2010.

It's a mod. All of the zombies are just ghoulified versions of whoever the player kills. The mod kind of just swaps out the character model but keeps the clothing or whatever they had on before. There are zombies that come during base raids that are just slow moving ghouls as well. It's pretty neat.
This literally reminds me of hearts of iron mods or even fallout mods that are in super early alpha without a ton of work into them and they may be finished but at the end of the day those are free
It reminds me of the old Fallout 3 Mod that tried to add their own version of the Commonwealth into the game back in like 2010 or so, the alpha of it was basically a bit of Boston Harbor and some landmarks, it never went anywhere, but it was free.

BRONOOVIAN
It would have but I still thought the ending could’ve been better
If the main story of Fallout 3 was as good as the rest of the game, I guarantee 3 would've been considered one of the best, if not the best, Fallout game.
You could get Doom 2016 for the same price as that mod
I feel like going to Rivet City would've been better, it felt more memorable.
Oh definitely, it was like a second home to me. Way more memorable than GNR and even more if Three Dog is not around anymore.
There is noo need to GO there. Rivet City is a carrier that was in BoS hands for a DECADE. *Half* of Fallout 4 map is just water, empty water. Just make it repaired and drive it there as a reinforcement... hmm, you've just -given- seen me get a completly original idea for something...
Wasnt that used to make the huge airship the BoS uses? I could easily be wrong tho
@@grindcore124 only one of the reactors from the carrier were taken. And there WERE plans to restore the carrier before Dr.Li arrived and took over city council. So the design and preparation stage was already finished. They just needed investment into the project.
[Warning, loose headcanon below!]
If Maxon screws over Lyon's BoS and gets Prydwen and Liberty Prime, I call it fair if Sarah's last loyal Paladin becomes the Sentinel of Washington DC and gets a functional carrier to preserve Elder Lyons vision of BoS future. Of course that Paladin being the most venerated member of Lyon's Pride after Sarah herself - Lone Wanderer;)
@@grindcore124 No, I believe they stole the reactor from the ship to use for the Prydwen.

All Bethesda creation club currency will now officially be known as "Todd Coins"
Aldy Shawnart bold assumption there
Kris Takahashi's creations are super glitchy in Skyrim and very incompatible with mods.
New Vegas is $3 USD on Steam.
*The Ultimate Edition is $6.*
Then a cease and desist won't matter, it's out there now.
people are remaking fallout 3 and NV in fallout 4 for FREE so keep an ear to the ground for news on that

I love how Zenimax forced Bethesda to ruin Fallout, yet everyone decides to blame Todd and his team instead of the suits on top.
Todd is a suit up top...
Its fun
Shhhhh don't say that, they get mad at the truth.
Microsoft owns Bethesda now so let's hope they actually put a leash on them

I'd prefer the jack up the price, but make it the quality and content of an expansion. Right now its just an 6 dollar fo4 quest, and not that compelling of one at that.

Why didnt the just remodel the gouls for the “zombies”
It's a mod. All of the zombies are just ghoulified versions of whoever the player kills. The mod kind of just swaps out the character model but keeps the clothing or whatever they had on before. There are zombies that come during base raids that are just slow moving ghouls as well. It's pretty neat.
I got Fallout 3 in a sale on GoG for $5 and stuck the whole damn game into my New Vegas with Tale of Two Wastelands.
