    Hi Nick, another great video again.
    Some information for you and other Everton fans .
    I have a family member who works in the area. There is a private company going around the local companies that deals with towing unlawful parked cars looking for business .
    Also, businesses like his one are going to invest in crones to stop parking near business on home games.
    Thought I would let you know cause parking on match days is the talk of workers specially the transport companies.

    Fab Fly-Around again Mr Drone! There's still a lot going on, isn't there? Outside the North Boundary Fence, there is a big, wide road and there is a second Boundary Fence North of that. So, my question is: Why the need for another fence on the UU side? Could it be that this Road will be used as an exit from the West Stand and part of the North Stand? N.B. this might not be on the original Blueprints but is an idea they had later?

    • @tarbeetempah134
      @tarbeetempah134 วันที่ผ่านมา

      There eventually won't be a road, its just land that was used for the build and will revert back to use by UU. The stadium boundary is the fence closest to it

    Whilst it was a smart move to record your Full Flyaround before Storm Bert got us in its grip, it does make it a little tricky for knowing if suggestions for PoI's are really 'News'.
    What a disappointing result yesterday. I couldn't keep in touch with the match itself as I was in the midst of a wider family tragedy, on Thursday night, so sport and other matters was suddenly low on the list of priorities and focus. I was with the poor parents for my birthday celebrations a week ago. I took time to decompress with other family members yesterday afternoon and I have enjoyed having a moment now to 'change subject' and wallow in something familiar.
    PoI's:
    1) @ 2:17 mins (and again @ 3:42 mins), I'm curious as to what the frame next to the Movement Gap bridge on the southern end of concrete roof of the Mansard Roof is for. A closer inspection might reveal what activity is going on there.
    2) @ 2:32 mins, I hadn't noticed recently but the southern/left-hand tree in both groups of three trees are clearly decidous and the leaves turned red before dropping.
    3) @ 2:38 mins, the contractors can be seen continuing the filling in of the Heritage Rails, I presume with some form of clear resin mix. They have been making their way southwards from the northern ends of the rails.
    4) @ 2:42 mins, we can see they have imnstalled the 3 remianing retractable bolards in the (southernmost) Tower Gates. We can see the two furture new gates
    5) @ 3:04 mins, we can see that the contractors from the white van have pipes going a) across the water-effect plaza in front of the East Stand main Portal to continue hosing down the plaza to remove excess micro-material but also b) just to the south of the Gate D Cut-Through of Regent Road wall. We can see that they have been hosing down the Regent Road wall between the Cut-Throughs, C and D.
    6) @ 3:24 mins, we can see that, just south of the southernmost Regent Road Gates and up against the Regent Road wall, they are constructing a rectangular wooden border or shuttering for some structure. Whatever that will be it wasn't on the plans so we should watch for how it develops into 'something'.
    7) @ 4:06 mins, we can see that the contractors on the blue scissor-lift are using the SW end Service Hatch that I pointed out last week and which, although, mentioned, wasn't seen in the Midweek Video due to the drone being flown too high.
    8) @ 4:54 mins, we can see alot of scaffolding towers erected undernetah the southern end of the mezzanine.
    9) Also @4:54 mins, we can see clearly the two hinged, 50% porosity 5m wide wind-baffle gates.
    10) @ 4:59 mins, we can see that they have installed 2 signposts either side of the central pair of "+" shaped wind-baffles. We still wait to see probable benches attached to the three fxings that are found in between each pair of wind-baffles along the south concourse.
    11) @ 5:37 mins, we can see that they have applied the black Capping Beam on the outer vertical edge of the Lower Promenade up to about halfway along northwards.
    12) @ 6:04 mins, we can see that tehre is only one solid panel remianing to fit on the large NW corner Wind-baffle barricade. The 10m wide 50% porosity roller-shutter gate is in.
    13) @ 6:41 mins, behind the light-blue beamed cherry-picker, we can see that they have installed the black corrugated doors for the "Front of House" garage (the Pitch Tunnel is behind that huge garage). The doors reach across from the Brick facade sections either side of them.
    14) @ 7:10 mins, the approach from the West instead of the East to look into the pitch area was a bit confusing for orientation for a moment.
    15) @ 8:32 mins, either the vehicles following the drone were slow, or the drone can achieve quite a speed. What's the maximum speed the drone will travel, Nick?

So, your questoon will be difficult to anser as we don't know how long the other jobs will take. But when it happens we'll know that the LoR phase is very near to completed.

    Hi Nick. Throughout out the years you've called the area outside the West Stand the Media Centre! Is that a fact?? Because it looks like an area where the lithium batteries and controls would be for the solar panels on the South Stand roof. All them solar panels will be producing megawatts of electricity. I know this because I have 14 panels on my roof. Can you confirm.

    • @DuncTheBlue1878
      @DuncTheBlue1878 18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      It’s not a media centre. The TV studio is in the north west corner of the stadium, above the vehicle access tunnel.
      Its official name is the Distributors Network Operators Compound - the DNOC

    • @davidbadcock2225
      @davidbadcock2225 6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      Andrew: there is no officially called Media Centre. There are lots of facilities for media, from TV Studios, TV Camera plinths or platforms, Commentary Desks, Press Boxes, specialist Media Services and wifi for all in the stadium. All of that network has to be channelled to one spot, for sure, and that IS at the DNOC or Distributors' Network Operators Compund (DNOC). That was too much of a mouthful for most so it got called the Media Centre by some.
      About 3/4's of the DNOC is for the Power Substation, batteries and emergency generators. They are open-aired. The external power supplies in from the Power Distributors Network travel from Blackstone Street across Regent Road, under the site to the NW corner, through the northern Isolation Bridge to the DNOC.
      The flat-roofed last 1/4 of the DNOC is for the control rooms for the "Operators" already described but also all the controls for the digital facilities, which include optic fibre connections, servers etc. All of the stadium digital requirements are directed out to the DNOC before leaving site. The Outside Broadcasters' vans will connect into the facility from the immediate south side of the DNOC and can transmit from there across the airwaves but all the cabling from the stadium (electrical and optic/digital) to the DNOC passes through the NW corner of the stadium and then through the northern Isolation Bridge to the DNOC before digital cabling passes back through the northern Isolation Bridge under the site to connections down Blackstone Street. It's the network that will connect the stadium to the www.

      Great question Jason. My first choice is Dan Meis, the architect. Second would be Colin Chong, he’s been the man under so much pressure throughout this build. He has had to deal with everything thrown at him from Laing’s, the planners, the club and all the uncertainty, the sad loss of Michael Jones and all the hype that’s incumbent with a major build like this.

    • @davidbadcock2225
      @davidbadcock2225 6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Great question, Jason. Let's see if Nick spots it and uses it in the midweek. As there are a large number of subscribers to this channel and lots of views, it'll get the question out to fanbase quickly. I like DaveG's thoughtful answer, as I do think Colin Chong has been a very astute rock operating in the shadows. Dan Meis would be a good shout BUT I guess TFG will have a significant opinion on matters IF they succeed in taking over mid-December.
