    Whoa, this video is fire! 😍 The shots are insanely good and the host is super cool - major props! 🙌 And that editing? Top-notch stuff! Seriously, how do you manage such a killer crew with this many views? Got a secret fan club in China or something? 😄
    But seriously, your dedication shows big time. Keep up the awesome work! Maybe try reaching out to more peeps 'cause your content's gold - you're onto something big! Can't wait for the next one! 🔥💯

      Thanks for the appreciation! It really was just me (host) and one guy filming lol, and he's still kinda learning. I edit it everything. Had a friend driving the other car with the camera guy.

      @@ChinaDriven Haha, that beats me. I don't have a channel, just sharing my thoughts! Have you considered collaborating with other TH-camrs in the EV niche? Also, even if you live in China, would it be more appealing to focus your audience more on your own country for greater relevance? How about a title like this: 'Unleashing the NIO PowerJourney: Exploring China's Wilds with the NIO ET5 Touring Into Shangri-La's Beauty!'
      To reach a wider audience, try exploring diverse content formats or covering trending topics related to EVs. Promoting the video extensively on various social media platforms, including those popular in your country of origin, can significantly expand your reach. Collaborating with influencers or channels outside the EV niche could tap into different audiences. Additionally, engaging with viewers through polls, Q&A sessions, or live streams can boost interaction. More frequent uploads with relevant keywords in the description can also enhance visibility and SEO. Experimentation and adapting to audience feedback are key to finding what resonates best!

      All great suggestions! We are active on Twitter @ChinaDriven
      Collaborations is something I should do, as I am in contact with most of the English speaking Chinese EV content creators here in China.

    Looks like an awesome trip. Perhaps I'll find the time to travel there eventually, would really like to spend a few weeks at altitude, take it easy for the first week and then spend a few weeks running, should boost my haemoglobin count, would be interesting to see the benefits after returning to sea level in Guangdong.
    Personally I'm still more of a fan of Xpeng, the fact that with Nio you're a "user" and not an "owner" irritates me. Even if I pay the cost of buying a battery, I do not actually own it. I'm not able to sell my Nio, keep the battery and swap it to a new Nio, so the benefits of battery swapping aren't that amazing given the fairly rapid speeds a normal EV can charge at. Also, Nio still haven't bought out anything that's particularly sporty, the P7i just looks a whole lot more fun.

    • @ChinaDriven
      @ChinaDriven  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Awesome trip 100% recommend it. Only episode 1 of 4 so much more to come. but we did it in 5 days and you could easily take two weeks to really enjoy the trip.
      Big fan of the P7i for the way it drives but the ET5 Touring was an absolutely gem on this trip. Space for carrying luggage and good fun when the road allowed. be sure to check out the next episode where we drive the 18 bend Heaven road.

    @beta__6109 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    While I absolutely love this. It would have been wonderful to have a series where you use an EV with plug-in as opposed to battery swap technology. Just to show off china's absolutely massive EV charging infrastructure. Or at least to get a sense of just how good it is.

    • @ChinaDriven
      @ChinaDriven  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      except for the battery swap at the beginning this whole trip was plug-in charging

    • @beta__6109
      @beta__6109 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ChinaDriven I'm guessing mostly Nio's chargers?

    • @ChinaDriven
      @ChinaDriven  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah so depends on the route. Some NIO Powerjourneys have a lot of swap stations. Some are a mix. This one pretty much all chargers. I guess there isn't the density of users on this route to make it worth installing swap stations

    Can you do this trip all the way to Tibet as a foreigner? I was looking at doing this but I read that if your a foreigner you won't be allowed into Tibet without a proper permit and this must be as part of a tour not self driving?

    • @ChinaDriven
      @ChinaDriven  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There isn’t currently a NIO PowerJourneys route to Tibet. As for the permits I’m not really familiar as I’ve never looked into it. But afaik there are some restrictions. But what they are I can’t tell you.

    What was the cost of the charge and Food?

    • @ChinaDriven
      @ChinaDriven  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can't remember without digging it all out. But the charging was inline with normal costs we pay in Changsha, roughly 1.2+rmb/kWh if memory serves me well.
      The food was also reasonably priced considering it's a tourist place. dishes around the 60-100rmb mark.

    Nio lose 35000 dollars every car.

    • @ChinaDriven
      @ChinaDriven  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not quite. a bit of misleading & sensationalism by The NY Times. The article is about the company having a loss in Q2 of $835million, but that “loss” is due to operations costs, investment into R&D in ADAS development and charging infrastructure.
      It’s disingenuous to say “each car loses $35,000” because that’s not strictly how that works.
