Mike
Love Wells, great video👍
thank you , one of favourites there , can’t wait to get back 👍
We were there October, fingers crossed soon be back
Hello all. I have only recently discovered your channel so am (almost) binge watching, all totally out of order. I don’t comment often but will do occasionally. Loving the contents. This one, Holkham Hall, was where I went to a wedding reception in the grounds a few years ago, beautiful place. ☺️
hello welcome and thank you for watching our channel , we love norfolk and it’s quaint villages and stunning coastline , we live in suffolk but mainly spend our weekends in north norfolk
thanks again
mike , kirsty , zola & lexi
Its amazing mate the best place in Norfolk I would say
Dear Mike & Kirsty
We are at Pinewoods now & wow, this place has blown us away, it's amazing the beach is awesome, to sit on top of the sand dunes and watch the sunset is incredible.
The site is so peaceful and spotless.
Thank you Both so much for reviewing Pinewoods you've opened up a hole new world for us.
Kindest Regards
Paul and Alison
That’s great I’m really pleased you like it , yes it has the whole package , a beach , the woods , a town, a harbour , nice walks etc , have a wonderful time so happy you like it
Thanks for letting me know
Much appreciated
Happy camping
Mike 👍
Thanks for another great look around our part of the world.
Just for your info. ....
4:30 the “Lifeboat Horse” statue can been back in the water. The statue is in honour of the horses that pulled the lifeboat has been mainly paid for by public donations. When the tide is out it can be see standing on a sandbank.
Thanks mike we wondered what that was and couldn’t find any info on it 👍
Looks like you visit some stunning places! And the sun was out for you!! I am on the lookout for a van conversion and then I'll be out and about more!
Nice one 👍 a van conversion will enable you to park anywhere easily enough
@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel yeah It will be my main vehical so going for a low height one
See you was having problems with your cadac safari 2 grill with sticking . I had same problem but rectified this with buying grill mats from Amazon . Just cut them to size . You can wash them too . Still gives the bbq look
Cheers Wayne I’ll have a look at those yes we always have a nightmare with that and trying to clean after is mission impossible thanks for the tip 👍
Happy camping !
Mike
Nice vid again Mike
Glad the dogs are fine, we need to get across to that neck of the woods, looks a lovely part of the country
We’re off to Normandy today in the new Carthago
Brilliant mate thanks for watching have a great time in France enjoy the new van !
We’re at pinewoods at the moment thanks to the reviews you posted.
The site is as you said , and a dog walkers paradise, the only thing I would add is the beach would be difficult to access for those with wheelchairs or walking difficulties via the track from the touring site. A beautiful place with lots of wildlife and plenty to do. Keep up the great reviews. Subscribed and liked.
Thank you for your comment Darren & a good valid point , I will add it the next time I’m there filming , thank you for making me aware , enjoy your stay and thanks for watching the video 👍
Mike
We love Wells Next to Sea. Dad lives at Hunstanton so never thought to actually stay at campsite. Frenches fish and chips are the best for miles. Also the Albatross pub is a great place to have a drink - it’s a pub that’s a boat just opposite the chip shop in the harbour.
hi guys yeah we love it there one of our favourites and we eat from frenches whenever we are there absolutely love it 😀 we’ve seen that pub boat but never been on it , hunstanton is only 40 mins from us so we are regulars there , thanks for watching and commenting 👍
mike & kirsty
Thanks for the heads up on the pathway. We hope to get back there soon. Off to Kelling Heath Tuesday with twin Grandaughters and our Basset hound !! Have you been ? Looks like you both have had a good time, now get back to work lol.
Hi Denis your welcome and yep back to work tomorrow lovely ! lol , actually we pass kelling Heath site a lot but never stayed there as yet , we hope to in the near future , have a great time 👍
Nice video enjoyed watching
Thank you and thanks for watching

Subscribed 👍 sorry for delay , for some reason that last comment got held for review. ? Strange , just seen it
@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel thankyou so much 👍🙂
Hi Mike and Kirsty
Do you have to take wind breaks down at night time ?
Kind Regards Paul and Alison
Sometimes , and some sites ( in the small print ) may suggest taking windbreaks down at night , in my 20 years of camping , I never have , and have never been asked too , only apart from horrendous winds arriving then I would automatically do it , which I have done on a number of occasions , wouldn’t want them unpegging and flying off only to damage someone else’s van , car , or even your own motorhome / caravan
Hope that helps
All the best
Mike 👍
Hi
Thank you for replying so fast, most helpful.
Regards Paul and Alison
No problem I’ll always help if I can
Got a £90 parking ticket in Wells-next-the-sea last year bad memories, still love the place 👍 great vlog nice find from Trev poshcats.
Ouch yes they are very strict in that area with parking
@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel Always have been. ☺
Hi we love wells will be there in September 2021, would like to ask about the folding mat you use outside what is it and where can I buy it from please, loving your video's and adventures.
Hi sue thanks for watching the videos , I’m not sure which matts you mean but the interlocking ones and the only other Matt we use outside are both from the norwich camping and leisure store , most camping accessories shops sell then , I’ll see if I can put the link to the store in this message ( not sure it it will work ) then maybe you could order them on their website , again , thanks for watching

Shop Lane ..... with no shops 🤣🤣
looks lovely, think we might give it a go. Is the beach dog friendly in the summer ?
Hi Amanda yes it is , there is a section at the entrance where dogs aren’t allowed , by the car park & watch tower , due to wildlife preservation , however , there are plenty of other access points along the path where they are allowed , thanks for watching the video
Mike
Just came across your videos and like what you are posting, question? we have 3 dogs and love bike riding with our dog trailer, is this an area that is good for this?
Hello and Thank you for your question , yes this area is perfect for biking and walking dogs , there are wooded areas the dogs will love & also the huge beach , you can bike into town and along many paths , the scenery is stunning as is the bird life , I love it there I think you won’t be disappointed , thanks for watching
@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel Thanks for the quick reply we will look into this as we love wildlife photography, check us out
Hi really enjoyed your video and love Wells. I’m in dilemma of Motorhome or caravan route, my question is how much of a compromise do you find not having your car, do you use the Motorhome for day trips from your base and if so how easy or difficult do you find this. Any other observations welcome! Great vid again👍
Hi and thanks for watching the video , a caravan and car would definitely be beneficial if you did want to travel & tour from your base , however a motorhome is quick and easy to set up once on site , my Motorhome is huge and is great once pitched up , but getting to smaller sites and more rural locations inc parking it , proves to be a problem so we tend to go with the fridge full , some people with a large Motorhome tow a small car , others opt for a van conversion as you can park them anywhere within reason and can leave your pitch and go touring , I don’t envy you being in the choosing process as it can be a real pain as I’m sure your finding out ! Please feel free to ask any q’s
Mike
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to reply Mike, your observations are the sort of things I was considering, problem is heart says Motorhome and head says caravan! Thank you again
Could Zola have been bitten by an Adder?
Very possible ! We never even thought of that
@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel Hows it described, the time of year and the area you were in, I think there's a good chance it could be an Adder.
I’m coming on 26th when are you leaving
Missed you by a couple of days have a good time
The Frenchies Motorhome channel I did many I will see you when I go in August we were gonna go in French’s chippy but the it was packed out the door
