Another interesting and fun one I've even brought to legendary missions is using Coyotes Mask and the Devil's Due with Perfect Clutch as the backpack. Because your RPM is so high and your crit hit chance is maxed, now you can run basically any gun in the game to capitalize on those crits. That means the instant you get a kill, all crits are now healing you on top of the 40% armor regen every time you get in cover. I've been using the GR9 with a max mag size attribute and the gunner spec so I can have a 275-round mag with Frenzy. When you pop out of cover that 750RPM turns into 1582RPM and you suddenly do 81% more damage and 100% more crit damage... The burst damage is unreal. And because you're firing so fast, so long as you got a kill previously, you also heal to full almost instantly from Perfect Clutch even if you were almost dead. Throw on the Busy Little Bee and a Dark Winter as your secondary, oh lawd. I also ran around the DZ yesterday killing entire squads of man hunts with the Eaglebearer and I swapped the backpack out for a Grupo backpack with Bloodsucker. Target the mobs to get your armor up and trigger Tenacity, become invincible for 15 seconds and face tank a squad with an Eaglebearer at 975RPM. They get mad they can't kill you and stop trying to do the manhunt lol
Something's to try that will blow your mind: Vector SMG, skill Unwavering Carbine or Police, with Fast Hand The Bighorn, it already has one of the quickest reload speeds. Negev LMG - With Measured or Frenzy. Handgun - 93R... it already has 1100 RPM!!! Been fun experimenting. Now looking into Ridgeway, Bloody Knuckles, and gonna try Ninja Bike Messenger.

@@Jupiter.141 same here i use it with the sleipner and railsplitter. Both work amazing with the gearset. But frenzy is on a whole other lvl with the gearset. Fully procced it has the rpm of a vector with almost 260chd and 57 chc but i still need to optimise some pieces and find those illusive 12chd mods.
This is the most diverse gear set in the game. I can’t congratulate the team enough on the creation of the this gear. One thing a friend shows me is that the vector fired too fast with this set. As in the game wasn’t registering the hits because the of the ridiculous rpm
Kinda digging the new build. If you're going to be in cover, add Sawyers Knee pads. You have the buff out of cover, you're just adding to it while in cover.

My favourite mix so far is Eagle Bearer and a Vector with Unwavering, it's a ton of fun to use! Just proc the EB Tenacity out of cover and go ham, if you fail and take too much damage you can just jump back into cover and be completely safe once the regen kicks in. The Vector with Unwavering is a really neat backup, it can dump a ton of dmg so fast and reload 3 mags in the blink of an eye before you lose the Weapon Handling buff, which is plenty to kill most Elites (bar chungas and LMGers). I mixed in the Catharsis and one extra blue core, makes you almost unkillable if you play it smart.
Unwavering is a beast, try adding a variant with Versatile and use the Rock N Roll or Lefty. If you're feeling frisky, try a sokolov bp with Versatile and a chest with gun slinger. Oh weee in the 5 seconds everything is catching hell.
Works really well with backfire if you can stand the red screen(or run ninja kneepads) Even without ninjas, you take no damage in cover when reloading, and have that spicy 200% crit bonus

Its insane but now im working on a build for the dz cuz i got some people i need to get some sweet revenge on. But just popping out wiping a few people out. Take some damage and then just chill til about half of my amor is back, pop back out, take out a few more then pop back into cover. Ill have my armor back quick not to meantion with the memento at full stacks just shy of 30k regen and 139 weapon damage for the pesti
I had the striker set first and ran the hell out of it. Got the entire Umbra and gameplay changed. It’s the best hybrid set in-game. 4 piece set. The other two slots switched out with whatever secondary weapon or skill. I love it
ran Tidal Basin on Lengendary with Umbra gearset. Self healing and damage pretty good geartset, i can melt an elite npc. I am using the chest and backpak with Cathis (cannot remember the exact name) mask cuz it really helps on Legendary missions. 4 reds and 2 blues

These builds might top my eclipse status drone build full skill tiers w scorpion and test subject. That build melts but this is new and the customization is what the division is all about, can’t wait to get building !
Nice breakdown! I run my Umbra build vanilla, i.e., four piece with chest and bp + Ceska + Grupo holster/knees combo. Even slow firing weapons that hit decently hard wreck NPCs. I do also like what they did with Ongoing Directive.

Yeah I just did the full summit with it, it was my first time doing summit as I've only been playing for 6 days lol. Really liked this gear set, as soon as I seen it I thought it'd be powerful! With shield and kingbreaker it was a breeze. Wish I'd unlocked the technician class but was criting for almost 700k with wild DPS.
You know, like clockwork, the game designers start seeing mostly everybody wearing this gear set...it's lights out (NERF CITY BABY!!!). However, I hope I'm wrong.

honestly at first I thought activating this set seems to be ridiculous as npc tends to be laser accurate if you are out of cover but when I paired it with chameleon and sleipner it's absolutely a beast get out waste the mag if you got hit get back in real quick armor is back get out waste the mag again rinse and repeat. I really hope devs will not nerf this gear

I'm using 4p with Chest (not backpack as I havent got it yet). Catharsis mask and a belstone. All primary stats rolled to skills, with turret and currently jammer for the league (but will change to drone).. also the Capacitor exotic AR.
this is the ONLY gear set in this game that actually makes me feel powerful. Skill builds are ok, but boring. This is much more of a run and gun with tactical cover used to power you up and heal you.
I love this gearset also... Right now I'm trying it with Picaros holster and Memento...If I'm not mistaken I didn't see you use Picaros holster on any of these builds...Have you tried it??
Exotic Cache in the DZ is the developers giving the PVP enthusiasts a bone, basically let's give them something to farm so they think the devs care about PVP when they clearly don't.
@@Kamikazevondoom considering they are charging 170 DZ resources in a PVE/P area with no increase in resource acquisition, to me screams "give a dog a bone!" It's scummy either way. I'm terrified of the future of this franchise, and so many others.
i think this gear set is fun indeed butttt i dont think its anywhere close to best gear set or close to op att all its lacking you cant take any damage at all so the healing part is kinda useles, however dps is kinda nice but again you have to charge it up by sitting like a duck whats get you killed idk. to me its a fun factor gear set for sure, but not realy good for anything else but fun. also i think that this gear set is lack luster becaus of the cover to cover its to buggy and sluggish, not the gear set just the cover to cover core game part and combine that like what this set is and its just meeeh, but fun for sure. the fun factor of this gear set is awasome i give it a full 100% effective for that . anywhays love the video like always keep them coming:D:D.

ive been messing around with the umbra set and i dont know why but for some reason the capacitor works better then it shoudl with the umbra set using other guns even when the base dmg is higher it just for some reason works even better with capacitor

Im running mine with the backfire and bleed resistance hazpro it shreds and surverbility is great , takes bit of time to get used to hope they dont nerf it already otherwise its basically hunters fury or striker the game for dps
Definitely a strong set. Threw a random build together with it. Matchmade for summit and ended up in a group running all directives. I carried the team.
I forgot to mention it was legendary. So yeah carrying a group in legendary with all directives says something about the build. Teammates running terrible builds doesn’t disprove my point, it actually supports it. The difficulty still remains the same with 4 times the enemies so yeah.

i smell jank math, click "read more" for a unnecessary nitpick. a third is 33.333333333% not 30%, which is 3/10th, not 1/3rd. a 900rpm rifle would be at 1170rpm, not 1200. the UI set cannot give a buff of one third the firerate to a 900rpm rifle.
You left out the backpack, knee pads, and holster, is it an umbra or fenris backpack? Lot if missing info on this one..and skills? Seems like a strong build, but you need to fill in the blanks...

backfire is also good with this set, you can have a whopping 300% chd and even without bleed resist, the heal will cover the bleed damage

I really like this set, I was running it with Pestilance the other day and was telling my buddy, Dude, this is just silly with the RPM buff!

Use catharsis mask and liquid enginer for backpack that's how I'm running it then everything else of the umbra in all red

you can build this with an SMG, an LMG, hell even a Skill build and it absolutely DESTROYS everything and everyone in your path

But if you sacrifice the backpack slot for the healing, you’ll be losing a lot of potential damage. Always give and take

Im running mine with the backfire and bleed resistance hazpro it shreds and surverbility is great , takes bit of time to get used to hope they dont nerf it already otherwise its basically hunters fury or striker the game for dps

Definitely a strong set. Threw a random build together with it. Matchmade for summit and ended up in a group running all directives. I carried the team.
I forgot to mention it was legendary. So yeah carrying a group in legendary with all directives says something about the build. Teammates running terrible builds doesn’t disprove my point, it actually supports it. The difficulty still remains the same with 4 times the enemies so yeah.

a third is 33.333333333% not 30%, which is 3/10th, not 1/3rd. a 900rpm rifle would be at 1170rpm, not 1200. the UI set cannot give a buff of one third the firerate to a 900rpm rifle.
You left out the backpack, knee pads, and holster, is it an umbra or fenris backpack? Lot if missing info on this one..and skills? Seems like a strong build, but you need to fill in the blanks...
The armor regen buff doesn't buff your Armour regen it gives you armor regen
Run mine with blood sucker and obliterate one Sokolov and one belstone the four piece gear set with backfire and ac12 with killer and healing drone and jammer and gunner specialization everything rolled to crt dmg 2 blue four red core attributes 🤟
Use Hunters or Strikers, looking to build Umbra as use Dark Winter, wonder how this will play out!
