I’m embarrassed to admit how often I watch this video. It’s quite relaxing and it actually calms me down amid the business of life. On a side note, a service like this would cost easily around $200 USD plus tip.
I'd happily pay $200 with no tip because tip culture is retarded.

Switchscissors is insanely talented as well. Dora beats him on versatility though - he’s proved himself time and again on so many different styles/types of hair.

I liked how Dora used pictures to really gauge what length Erlend wanted. That way, even with a language barrier, they had a good understanding
I’ve never heard someone describe how they want their hair, by the amount of time. “I’d like maybe 2 or 3 months cut” 😂. Brilliant. Makes sense
That is the “only” way I’m describing the way I want my haircuts from now on... it’s only right!!
And then on top of that he said he was open to suggestions and yet as he’s being prepped says that he doesn’t like to comb his hair let alone having it combed back. So pretty much give him his usual haircut but I’m open to suggestions……Well not really.
Yeah sometimes those folks of Scandinavian descent are..... quirky. I married to one. It's pretty common in Nord type germans too(i am descended from them).... i won't say we are the genetic embodiment of asperger's, but there are definitely autistic TENDENCIES in my people. I bet this guy is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

@@keithmartin1328 this was almost a 2 hour service. I wonder what they charge? Chain barbershops in the US that want you in and out in less than 15 mins are charging over 20 bucks now…

I don't have any male pattern baldness in my family but i can't stand having my hair touch the tops of my ears, i keep mine #2 all over, she'd with a straight razor. I need to find a barber. haven't been to one but 2x since my barber retired when i was 18. He was 74. That was 18 years ago and i cut my hair myself since then. I love getting a haircut and wet shave from barbers that are true masters of their craft and have the decades of experience to back it up.
He knows he's going bald. He just doesn't know what look to go for, with the amt of hair he has left.........

This guy has been getting his haircut in the Netherlands where they cut two months off. Barbar88 in his artistry took ten years off.
Based on this video and many others in Japan, the difference between Japanese barbers compared to America is Japan views this as an experience and self care. America views this as a chore and things are rushed because of it. Amazing the difference and quality
there are quite a few american barbers who are very cool and artistic, but you have to find them, don't be afraid to drive further from your local area if needed. Most people tend to go to nearest barber to their home.

The amount of care & detail is just something not even remotely seen in NA. Here, the cuts are so fast, in a rotation to get you out as soon as possible to get to the next client, and we pay 3 times what this 2 hour session cost. I'd love to go to Asia just for the services. It's incredible how the entire body is looked after. You would never have someone clean your ears or trim your nose or knuckle hairs here.
Imagine the care and detail if we could get them to shave our pubes too

The slicked back style suited his balding/thinning hair much better than the way he usually styles it himself. I like to go to the barber and let them do what they think is best because they know what they're doing and I don't!

This is like the best thing. Go for a haircut. get a really good haircut then a full face wash, ear cleaning and a great massage. You go in like a normal and come out as refreshed as ever. I need to make sure to visit here after covid for sure
