My favorite part is the towel after the shave. Where she covers his whole face and does that finger walk up to chin and the ears. She does it twice and then towel comes off. She does EXACTLY the same every time. Sometimes I skip just to that part and it makes me sleep.

when I was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan I went to a lady barber who didn't use clippers just really long scissors and could give you a close fade. Her shaves were amazing and hairlines were cleaned up with a razor as well. Every month I would go. I so miss that very much.
Kudo to Esther, her patience in working with such fine hair to this level is admirable. Taking the weight and balancing with the hair and how it lays toward the front is no easy feat.. as a customer who knows his own hair I’d imagine his appreciation for her skill.
If I knew japanese, first thing I would do after being in Japan, is to visit Esther, get some haircut and clean shave. She deserves a lot of costumers.

Her attention to detail is incredible, so good in fact that overcomes the language barrier. The camera equipment is top notch however the editing could use a little work. Who isn't jealous of this young man? Spending a few hours being pampered to this extent is definitely on my wish list. Mitsuyo Obara, you are an amazing artisan and an incredible, world class barber!
