Hey, Thanks for the advice when it comes to Beledros. Recently I started to get into magic and was able to obtain a Beledros and wanted to create a deck around him, and I was not sure where to start until I came across your video. Great stuff!
Life manipulation decks are very interesting to me to play and I wish there was a jund commander for this archetype. Also I think Castle Locthwain would be a good land in this deck
Castle Locthwain is definitely a great land for the deck. You just have to be careful if you're hand is chocked full of cards, which happens more often than not.
@@TheCommanderTavern castle can be looked at a good way to lower hp before a switch tho. Like castle isnt a downside as the life loss synergies well with the deck. If it was in a control shell i would totally agree but this wants to pay life as this deck uses it more as a resource than a way to stay in the game
This is really good, but I have to correct one thing. Pro-Color doesn't protect you from Crypt Rats since it's not targeted. But this is a really well put together deck. Thank you for the build.
Glad you like it! Actually, protection from black does work because protection from a color prevents all damage that would be dealt from that color. It might be a global effect so it doesn't target. But the damage is 0 because of the protection. Remember DEBT: - damage - enchanted - block - target
The set is amazing but honestly, I wasn't that inspired with most of the legends, so I understand how you feel. But it's ok, not every set is meant for commander.

Beledros is sick. She's my favorite new legend from Strixhaven and I'm building my own lifegain list now.
Beledros is definitely one of the better dragons of Strixhaven (to me, at least). It's a great way to weaponize lifegain without even being in white.
