- Okay, back to something serious. Something serious and something big - the Hrimfaxi. Freezing waters, a giant sub, burst missiles, and mad UAVs. And of course, thunderous riffs. Perhaps the best track in AC5, the only one that may match it in my heart is Supercircus.
And yet, I will also confess you this - I think I actually like my ACX Razgriz remix over this.
I always loved how, when Hamilton interrupts the Colonel to give personally the mission briefing, he shows that, coming from the HQ, has a "better resolution" of images than a remote commander of a remote base.
That's not Hamilton, though, it's an adviser specifically send for that mission, Colonel Mitchell. You're right aside from that, though.
Take a shot everytime you hear "Razgriz", not sure you'll survive this mission, still an awesome one though, intense and with great music!
"We gotta dive before the enemy does!" Okay, planes CAN technically dive, but that quote still feels weird in this context.
"Ah the top brass are all the same." That kind of quote is why Grimm is my favorite character in the game, he just has a way to say stuff like that with such spontaneity. XD

Probably didn't want to get involved. If they attacked the sub it might warrant retaliation from the Yukes

Not exactly a "plot convenience" per say. If the next Osean ground advancement hasn't been attacked with burst missiles yet, but a Yuktobonian supply submarine is detected heading towards the location of the Hrimfaxi, logically the Hrimfaxi will have to surface to be re-armed for the next strike. Of course, the briefer could have worded it better. "As predicted" would have been better than "By amazing coincidence."

Probably one of the few levels that's actually tough to get an S-rank in. You have a strict time limit and a fairly high score ceiling to reach.
Definitely a fun mission though. Love that track.
Just gotta damage it enough so it won’t keep diving, but let it keep launching UAVs. Free points right there
Shooting these UAV are relatively easy. And you can just use F-16 UGBs and bust your load at Hrimfaxi to speedrun the sub.
Wait so the Hrimfaxi was stationed all the way in Anea? WTF!?
Couldn't Emmeria, Estovakia or even Nordennavic tell them to leave since their performing military operations outside Yuktobanian boarders?
They wouldn't even know it's there. Ballistic missile submarines are a scary, scary thing because they can rain death from anywhere.
bluesrike if you notice next to where the Hrimfaxi is you will see that there is a small camp which is probably yuke territory
@@TugaAvenger Other than "because Estovakia didn't exist yet", that doesn't quite explain why nobody reacts to a flight of hornets backed by AWACS just casually showing up off the coast.

Derpy 1109 Also, Estovakia is probably too involved in fighting its own civil war to notice or be able to do anything about it.

The track and the voice acting is superior in this mission. Awacs screaming the missile is headed your way, the urgency of the guy from HQ after that submarine gave its warning. The enemy over the radio saying “what’s the point of your existence if you don’t fire now”

This soundtrack had no business going this hard.
The hrimfaxi’s achilles heel is the bomblets that you get on the tornado I found. Fly high, do a Stuka style divebomb and unload everything on the hrimfaxi. You can wipe all the targets out on its hull in as little as 1 run.
If you play AC7 multiplayer and all your saved sorties have the Razgriz patch as your emblem may all of your 8AAM's connect and cheers to you🥂🍻
Did Emmeria and Estovakia find out about this event? Or did they never find out there was a battle there? why the Razgriz Strait belongs to Emmeria and Estovakia.

When I play either of the submarine fights on emulator, there's thin square borders around the burst missile explosions. How did you avoid that with yours?
That's...a good question, actually. Does the screen also get very blurry? That happens on newer builds and I couldn't figure out why, and I totally forgot it didn't in older ones. Still no clue why though.

Damn it you have to attack Hrimfaxi at the last minute to maximize soundtrack badassness! Tomcat did it best but the dumbass deleted everything for some dumbass reason.
