Poor Kelly gets lousy transportation, harrased by loverbot before her car blows up, forms of transportation leaves her and a highway of trouble in her life.
I'm just enjoying Sideburn's flirting with Kelly while being completely unaware that she's a human. I can't stop laughing at his overdramatic way of being hurt by her comment about being onboard the Titanic.
I think what makes Kelly stand out from the other humans in Transformers is the following: *Most* and not the rest: "Let's go stop the Decepticons, Optimus Prime!" Kelly is just a poor woman trying to have a "normal" life, but she's constantly being strung into the conflict between the Autobots and Predacons/Decepticons. That, and Sideburn can't stop simping on whatever red vehicle Kelly seems to have on her.
@@MatthewTheWolf2029, Kelly was fantastic and part of the comic relief routines. She quickly grew on me to the point I actually began to feel sorry for her and Sideburn constantly annoying her was hilarious!
RID 2001 wasn’t what I wanted from a transformers show at the time, but looking back on it as mostly a comedy it’s not bad at all. A good change of pace from the relentlessly dark Beast Machines, abs actually more consistent than the Unicron Trilogy. It’s a bit like Animated really.
Interesting to note that Philece Sampler, the voice actress for Kelly, is the voice for Taokaka from BlazBlue. But with that being said, RIP Philece Sampler, you may be gone BUT you shall never be forgotten
I wish there's a compilation of all the moments he's seen chasing after red cars. I honestly get more of a kick out of him falling for every "candy-apple red" car he sees.
I just love how Kelly refers to Sideburn as THE talking car. It’s like she’s seen him in vehicle mode enough times to KNOW that he looks like a blue Dodge Viper. XD
I like to think of Kelly as the bridge Philece Sampler took to go from the occasionally bratty but well meaning (and sincere) Mimi in Digimon to the spontaneously shouting on the precipice of paranoia Beauty in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. There was also that detour of her as Silvia in the Viewtiful Joe anime. Yeah... that was a thing.
