Well, there was food and Chilean music...and at least 2 identified INFJs there (I talked with them about MBTI and INFJs. They loved the topic! Then, we talked about homeschooling and the purpose of life), dating or married to Chileans. Plus me, the INFP!

As an INFJ, I had a relationship with an INFP. At first, it felt like a soulmate connection. Everything was magical. Then she started feeling my presence was too intense, as she felt like I mirrored all the emotions she had. I also felt confused as she was very inconsistent with her behavior because of all the mood swings she had. I tried to understand her but she wouldn't want to share what was causing all her emotions. She had a fear of intimacy. This made me very anxious, because I felt there was a mental wall between us, and it slowly made the atmosphere in our relationship a bit heavy. Then she left me because she couldn't handle the intensity of my presence as she didn't feel comfortable with opening up to me, even though I really tried my best to build trust and connection
She was not emotionally healthy, and therefore not open to what you had to offer. A successful relationship does not just depend on compatibility but also on individual life stages and emotional/mental health. I was an unhealthy infp for a long time, but after I worked on myself, I readily, openly and very happily accepted the beautiful love my amazing infj was (and still is!) offering. Have faith. Keep working on yourself. When the time is right, the universe will deliver an infp who will match everything you have to offer, and your pairing will be a match of the stars.

So, naturally it affected me emotionally, and now I just want to move away from feeling of disappointment.
