This is all so disheartening for me. I’m 39, Australian with no degree and am not well travelled. I want to make a new life in the US but just can’t find a way that will work. Pretty upsetting :(
@@AmericaJosh I just read through the requirements again - when I first read them two year a or so ago I interpreted it to be 3 years work experience = 1 year of a degree. Reading again it looks like I could potentially apply as a general office clerk given my previous 3 years in that role. Interesting, my hopes are slightly up!
@@the_clueless_traveller You were right originally. 3 years work experience = 1 year of a degree, and in general you need 4 years of degree = 12 years work experience. The role that you get in the US also needs to require a Bachelor Degree or greater. Sorry to add to the conditions!
get some consulting firm to file your visa with some random job offer. once you land in US you can switch to a real project. All that consulting firm has to do is file you taxes to prove you are on payroll.. obviously you won't get paid till you find a real project.

Thanks Ajay! Lots of people visit on a B1/B2 or an ESTA to do their interviews and hold meetings with potential employers. Being employed from abroad is normally only really possible if you have relationships, networks, or have been headhunted.

What’s E3R visa?
It's the renewal of an E3!
@@AmericaJosh is it a different process from E3? Why it’s distinguished from E3?
@@minabenjamin3660 No it's the same, it's just the fact that you've had one before
