It's because her lawyer is on a wild fishing expedition and is desperately trying to get him to slip up with broad questions or questions that require speculation which isn't working. In a nutshell the plaintiff's business went under and her shit got repossessed by her finance company (GE) because she wasn't paying her debt. She's either a paranoid lunatic who really believes the tin foil hat conspiracy she's alleging, or she's a deliberate gold digger just hoping that the big company will toss her a settlement to get rid of her and avoid litigation which does happen.
the plaintiff attorney needs to go back and learn.. he is getting called on form for every question. none of this is useful in court. However Marcus and his legal team are doing an amazing job.
@@guitargeorge1874 "form" basically means the way he is asking the question is going against the accepted formats for a court to accept the question as evidence. if i say something like isnt it true that you did sabotage this company. That is illegal form because its leading the defendant. you can ask Did you sabotage this company. which follows proper form.
This lawyer had a rough day. But to have so little client control that she’s making gratuitous threatening comments to a very savvy witness during breaks? Cmon, man…

I think he may have actually remembered a few hundred things that he said he didn't
If I am under oath, and I do not remember what time and day I met you ten years ago, then I do not remember when I met you. If I cannot give a perfect definition of a steeple chase, if I don't KNOW that my wife did not buy another horse this morning, if I do not know Joe Schmo's exact address, then I do not know where he lives. A different approach would be to use 200 words describing where Joe Schmo lives, even if it is insignificant or the wrong Joe.
I am just here for the comments on the cup of tea.
I dont know how I even got to these videos but I watched both in their entirety. I dont anything about the guy deposed but I actually thought he did a great job.
Millionaire, possibly billionaire. Had a tv show called "the profit"
@@allenkells3526 has a TV show
wow she sure humiliated him, i bet he crys him self to sleep at night!~ im not a fan of these billionaire cnbc show stars, but he sure seemed polished and even keeled in this deposition... not sure theres more one can ask for. quite frankly i 100% believe she tried to get a rise out him when they took the break because of how well he was shutting down the questioning, also the way the lawyer tried to move on as quick as possible after slugging along everywhere else seemed to support that as well.
I don't recall if I watched Part 1 or not.
Did Stetler lose her lawsuit and is the release of this deposition her way of continuing the case?
It's basically a game of cat and mouse. Then they see who breaks first.
Lol. I would've fucked up tons of times.
mITSOL 765 Any good business person goes through training on how to handle a deposition. Marcus is doing well. Lawyer is awful. Can't even ask a proper question. It's awful
Hey Marcus, how's it going?... I don't understand the question. I don't recall.
What was the case about, and who won?
This guy had a business show on NBC. Seems cool on the show. Successful businesses are sued all the time. You gotta act like this to protect yourself.
That is a bottomless cup of Tea; even though every time he sets it down it is clearly empty; Yet ML is a cool cat for sure. The attorney is way over his skis.
He has been trained very well on how to provide little to nothing in a depo.
The lawyer is horrendous. He should have a job asking if you want that supersized.
I am going to be honest here. I think this lawsuit is about something else, not Marcus Lemonis, and definitely not the big guy vs the little guy. Put all the pieces together and see what conclusion you end up at.
as in....she made a pass at him and he shut her down? or vice versa perhaps?
She's either a paranoid lunatic who really believes the tin foil hat conspiracy she's alleging, or she's a deliberate gold digger just hoping that the big company will toss her a settlement to get rid of her and avoid litigation which does happen.
Three hours of 10 stuttered rephrased questions. “Billable hours” at its worst!
Tomorrow I'm gonna buy an RV or a horse.
Is that a magical cup of tea he has cause it's lasted for an hour and a half and he keeps drinking!1 WTF???
purplemstc 😂
They took multiple breaks lol.
They take breaks, I'm sure he's had a couple refills.
There is a trap door in the table. Marcus sets cup on top of door and assistant opens it and pumps tea into cup from below. That's my theory.
This cup of tea must be from one of Marcus' new business acquisitions. It is not only bottomless, but it also boosts confidence too I guess.
EVERY ONE WANTS TO SUED THE PEOPLE ON TOP FOR NO REASON AT ALL. IF SOMEONE ELSE BEING SUED IS WORKING IN THE COMPANY WHY MARCUS IS THERE?
the plaintiff attorney needs to go back and learn.. he is getting called on form for every question. none of this is useful in court. However Marcus and his legal team are doing an amazing job.
What does "form of a question mean"?
@@guitargeorge1874 "form" basically means the way he is asking the question is going against the accepted formats for a court to accept the question as evidence. if i say something like isnt it true that you did sabotage this company. That is illegal form because its leading the defendant. you can ask Did you sabotage this company. which follows proper form.
I think Marcus is outstanding! I follow his business ideas and advise 💯....he's a good business man
Not good at winning lawsuits though, the plaintiff in this lawsuit won on 7 of 8 counts
her lawyer took a three hour shit kicking and didnt get what he wanted , gotta love marcus . what did you do 6 years ago??? (8 in 2019)
سلام آقای مارکوس، امیدوارم که همیشه خندان و سلامت و موفق باشید. میخواستم بپرسم که شما فقط در آمریکا فعالیت میکنید ؟
Dude keeps asking him to prove a negative.
Text book deposition..... plaintiff's attorney spent hours asking stupid questions and learned nothing! Love it!
29:15 At this location would there be RVs? Yes that’s how they get rented.🤣👀🤨OMG duh..
i am so confused... what caused this in the first place....
This lawyer had a rough day. But to have so little client control that she’s making gratuitous threatening comments to a very savvy witness during breaks? Cmon, man…
If the person suing played her cards right she could have been on The Profit one day. Instead decides to file ridiculous lawsuit and gives us couple hours of entertainment watching Marcus totally own this deposition.
I wasted a ton of time watching for something that never happened.
Hahaha Right? I’m going to spare myself. I’m not going to watch the entire deposition. I’m out. 🖐🏼
This reminds me of Michael Corleone testifying in front of Congress just stonewalling the pricks.
Corleone was a fictional head of a criminal organization engaged in robbery, murder, extortion, etc. Congress was trying to stop him. Who’s side would you be on?
J K No way, Corleone was fictional? Thank you for pointing that out!
Frank Ricard So you are a douche on the side of both fictional and real life criminals?
Note to self. If ever deposed, show up with tea. Never underestimate the power of tea.
Marcus is way to smart for this kid. He’s obviously not gonna give much up. I’d hate to have to depose him.
Ice cold Marcus . Toying with the attorney like A little kitten
Go back to law school and have another crack at Civil Litigation Practice 101 and, more specifically, Deposition Practice, Procedure and Preparation.
If the plaintiff's firm took this case on a contingent basis, they are SOL.
